the education system sucks

is it just me who has noticed that the education system pretty much tells you some things can’t be learnt? I suck at art and when I was talking about how bad my drawing was the teacher just told me that some people are good at different things to others and not to worry about it. She gave me no advice on how to improve my piece just told me it was fine. The next day I was doing algebra and was saying how I couldn’t do it, maths teacher told me that I’d get it eventually if I worked harder. Why is it ok to be bad at the arts because it’s apparently not something you can learn but if you can’t do maths or science you’re just lazy?
