Even being a small inconvenience, Rex looked awfully torn up about accidentally harming someone he wasn’t even trying to fight. Superpowered (Or rather vampowered in this case) or not, bothering the innocent was entirely unintended whenever it happened.

Currant eyes gleamed behind her obsidian veil and she smiled warmly, careful to not show her fangs in the process.
“Unless if you can find kosher hot dogs and dip them in blood, then that won’t be necessary, I feel. I’d be more bothered if you did this intentionally, so... All is forgiven.”
She was grateful that her skin healed so quickly, too, and left no signs of visible scarring as well. On her body, it was like he never hurt her in the first place.
