Early autumn; an overload of richness, depth of colours and time for hygge

London is an incredible city where you never finish exploring

All ages can let themselves inspire and miniature models are really magical and so are upside down flower installations

Seeing the world through your kids eyes just reminds you of how wonderful the world is and also how fragile peace can be

Thinking a lot about life, love and peace at the moment

Whatever your mood always remember to look up to the sky.

Every minute, every day and any weather gazing up to the sky always sets things in perspective and calms your mind.

First thing I do in the morning is to look up and breathe in the morning sky and take in its energy for the day.

So look up and enjoy

The sense of spring spring being just around the corner always inspires me to look out for textures, colours, shapes and materials for making gifts and decorations

Winter sun fires up all senses and everywhere beautiful details stand out crisp and sharp against the icy blue sky and light blue snow

The Sun makes the world glorious and sends light deep into your soul and mind. 

This weekend was another amazing one full of white snow, outdoor snow shoe adventures, potting of hyacinths and plenty of frosty sunshine ending with jaw dropping sunsets.

How lucky one is to be alive, healthy and happy. May the sunshine reach you all.

Oversleeping this morning turned out fantastically as I then had to take kids to school and the drive back down the mountain was just incredible.

Snow, blue skies and space has eliminated all the stress and rush in my head and made today a wonderful day.

Again proven that snow brings calm and peace.

Life is surely to enjoy and food, wine and creating food definitely brings me joy.

Kneading a new bread and see it grow, colouring a bread to see what happens or simply taking in a beautiful sculpture against the darkening blue sky.

In the details I find calm and happiness

Cold weather has its own beauty, frozen water falls, snow people building and shooting it all with my beloved camera.

Back inside, a fresh homebaked bun filled with marcipan and vanilla crème is just perfect.

Snow makes the world peaceful, calm and quite romantic.

After a glorious walk on top of town a warm apple cake is a perfect finale to a perfect afternoon.

First day of 2022 was a beautiful one; sky full of criss crossing flight paths, light art in town and natural decorations

Last day of 2021 and making sure to make the most of it with a fresh swim and making almond bites for midnight

After dishes of delicious Christmas food a walk uphill is what is needed and after the rain a misty sunshine brought light out.
