Arrived back in HK a few days ago to miserable weather and a tripwire political climate. Sitting in my thinking chair at home tonight replaying a ton of awesome memories from the past few weeks I glanced over to notice the shield from the HK Trail Running Awards that I picked up before I left. Had completely forgotten about it! What a nice ‘welcome home’ sign it was. I’d almost forgotten how beautiful the Pui O to Mui Wo Coastal Path run is. A great one for concentrating on breathing and cadence. Really happy at how fluid everything felt today and even ran the uphills. So immensely proud to have run with this group of lovely people at the 2015 @barclaysmoontrekker and finish 2nd team overall and 1st mixed team, on a new course. Will miss being a part of this excellent event this year 😭 The ebb and flow and highs and lows of team running still fascinate me and I think I get a lot more out of it personally than running solo - the dynamics are certainly much more accentuated.
