Hi! Iâm the mod of a multi-team hockey RPF Discord server called h0ck3yst1cks. What with Tumblr going down in flames, I thought it would be a good time to invite those who might be interested in joining! For anyone who hasnât used it before, Discord is essentially an instant messaging client: you join a server (basically a big group), and within that server there are channels about different topics where anyone in the group can chat with each other.
Just so you know what youâre getting into, weâre an exclusively 18+ server, primarily focused on hockey RPF with a lot of general hockey talk (and a lot of discussion about food in our #off-topic chat). We welcome all kinds of fans who create all kinds of content, including what some might consider dark or objectionable material. Oh also! I wanted to mention this even though it makes me look hilariously incompetent-- about 6 weeks ago I had a total fail moment and somehow accidentally used Discordâs prune function to kick members who had been inactive for more than 7 days. That was 100% unintentional, and if you were one of the people I kicked, a) Iâm so sorry! and b) you are totally welcome to come back and join us, I still donât know how I managed to do that accidentally D:Â
