Pumpkin monster. 1x2 skeleton, monster mud and paper towel mache for the body. Painted the body with Drylock for extra waterproofing.

Sam from “Trick ‘r Treat.” PVC skeleton, burlap sack head, flannel costume. The head started with a styrofoam mannequin head, then layered on plastic bags and duct tape to get the right size. Clothes are crudely sewn- just laid out a set of kids pajamas on the yard of flannel and traced, cut, them sewed.

Michael Myers and Jason lawn decorations. PVC pipe skeletons with poultry fencing for shape, spray painted thrift store boots, masking tape and wire hands. Jason’s head is paper mache with several layers of polyurethane for waterproofing.

Drilled holes in the boots so the pipes went all the way through, then drove a couple of pieces of rebar into the ground and slid the pipes on. Completely freestanding.

Someone stole Michael’s head, so I made this one out of a burlap coffee sack. Inspiration taken from “The Strangers.”
