In July of 2013, I went to a Breathe Carolina concert at the Castle Theatre in Bloomington, IL. My friend Lisa and I decided to go there about an hour before the show started because it was general admission and we wanted good seats. There was already a pretty long line when we got there, so we decided to just sit and enjoy ourselves until they started letting people in. There were bands walking in and out, but no one we recognized. Until at last I saw David Schmitt, Kyle Even and the rest of Breathe Carolina! I kept yelling “I love you guys!!” and they would yell it back. They went in and out of the building a couple times and every time they walked past me I would try to have a conversation with them and would say things like “how are you?” and “I can’t wait for the show!” They kept answering back so I thought that was pretty cool of them. They walked out of the building for about the third time and then I saw Kyle stare right at me. Other people tried to get his attention, but I realized he was coming straight towards me! He came up and hugged me and I asked for a picture and he said yes! That was one of the best moments of my entire life. I’ve listened to Breathe Carolina for about 6 years now and I still can’t believe that I met Kyle.
