Driving around
Learning some things
Wheelalignment is becoming problematic. I can't go faster without being unsafver.
That and windscreen is leaking a bit. Luckily rainy season is coming to an end. so that's nice.
Looking for bigger engine of later model cars to replace the 1L engine currently in the car
A colleague of mine has an Uno. Bout the same age as My Car.
Had him drive mine around the block to get his opinion.
He mentioned the clutch/first gear problem.
Maybe I need to check the oils of these parts.
Anyway. I'll see what other fixer people will have to say.

First time taking my car to work. Everyone had a giggle and wished my congrats.
It truly is an achievement.
I think what I am experiencing is universal to every car owner. I think this is why people have cars.
To have an intimate connection with something wants to serve. It's unseen in our society. But with the car; with all its glory and attribution to our stance as society, we allow.
It's weird.
It's not a pet.
It's not alive.
It's a machine; made to serve.
And we fall in love with it. We love something which will, till it's dying breath, serve us.
We give this inanimate, mobile object, capable of amazingness;the highest and most precious part of our existence.
We take care of it. Like it's one of us. Like it's an extension of us.

Locked the keys in the car.
Nothing is broken enough for me to just rip it open. The car was actually looked after well.
I could pry open the door a bit, the fiffled for two hours trying to get the keys out the ignition when I remembered the window thingy is very lights. I could easily turn that half way and my hand would fit.
So now I know how to get into my own car.
I should go make a spare key.
My car is older than immobilisers. I going to plop over to the local lock smith and make a new set.

My suburb is fairly quiet. During the day and at night. Not a lot of traffic. I'm between two main roads, so there is one road thats frequented to cross from one to the other.
Other than that, it's quiet.
This makes it perfect for driving around with a joint. I think by now the people have seen me crawl past their house more than once, with just clouds escaping my tiny car's huge window.
Also the looks from passers by....I mean, firstly, have you seen my car. Secondly. Sniff sniff. That confirms it. You have to be high af to drive thát.
Anyway.
I did a lot of driving this weekend. My normal trips. Groceries. Etc. but now I have to think ahead of the parking lot of the store I'm going to. Somehow I ended up in the most congested one, but luckily three spaces open next to one another. It is fairly easy to park my car. The size is veeeeery convenient.
Still listening out for sounds that shouldn't sound. So far the only thing that bothers me is the suspension. Or maybe I just need some lube. Who knows.

Its so nice. I love it.
I still suck at parking.
Have to strategically plan my route to a grocery store where Ill be able to park without having to call the police after or beforeward.
I went by the mechanic a couple hours ago just to see what's what....
They took the engine apart ( 😭), waiting for a part that's coming in from the coast by courier. Should be here tomorrow, day after latest.
I'm setting my sights on having everything in order by Friday. Anything before that would be a surprise.
So yay.
I received my paper work yesterday. My mechanic paid the outstanding fees I had on my motorcycle. None the less. I have officially registered in my name a motorcar vehicle
My ancestors are celebrating
The unending battle to get shit fixed has started and the hoping and praying I won't be spending more than a kidney on it, is in full swing.
I did some googling. Blue smoke comes from engine oil.
Valve stem seals.
Car was standing for some time, and these things are rubber....common problem I believe. I've seen cars smoke before.
So. Hoping that would get fixed soon.
My.car is hilarious
I was looking on market place for a car for about two weeks. My budget only allowed.
Well....
What I noticed was the difference between people who love driving and people who love cars.
Those who like driving refer to a car as A or The car.
Those who love cars refer to them as Theirs.
"there is nothing wrong with the car"

So I just bought a car
