A/n: Happy super late birthday Joshua! 💓I had to rewrite this 3 times and I honestly gave up this try lol so I hope everyone enjoys 🤪 didn't proofread so good luck.

You walk into the kitchen and catch your boyfriend Joshua, softly singing to himself next to the stove. It was around 10am and he was dressed in a large white tee shirt and his black boxers. You couldn't help but stand there for a bit and admire how perfect he was.

You guys have been dating for about 3 years and things have been nothing but great together. Sure you had your ups and downs but neither of you gave up on the relationship which only made it stronger.

"Oh your awake," Joshua said turning the stove to the low setting then walking over to you, snapping you out of your day dream " I didn't wake you did I?"

"No you didn't don't worry" you smile as his arms carefully wrap around your waist and he pulls you close.

"Good" he presses a short yet sweet kiss on your lips then let's go and goes back to continuing his cooking.

"You need any help?" You ask already getting ready to chop up the fruit that was left out that Joshua completely forgot about.

"Could you hand me the sal-"

"Here you go" you hand him the salt that he needed.

"Ah y/n, I love you so much" he dramatically yelled.

"Josh, I can you bring the large blankets in the closet too?"

"I already got them!" Joshua yells. He wobbled into the living room with tons of pillows and blankets to add to the forming fort you both decided to make.

"Perfect," You say clapping your hands together "this is gonna be the best fort anyone in the whole universe has made"

Joshua stares at you I awe. He loves your excitement over this fort and can't stop himself from thinking, "wow, I'm really in love with them."

"What was that?" You ask

"O-Oh nothing, here" he hands you one of the body pillows, " you should put that right over there so we can have a couch when we watch movies!"

"Ahh!!! Yes of course!"

"Happy Birthday to you~" you finshied singing and placed the crooked cake on the table.

"I'm sorry it's a bit slanted, I tried to follow that one recipe you liked so much but I didn't know how they got it to be so straight" you laugh.

"It's fine y/n," Joshua says softly, grabbing your hand " I bet this is the best cake anyone could have made. And it's all because you made it"

"Oh shut up and eat your slice so I can have some" you let go of his hands and started to cut the homemade cake and place it on a tiny plate.

Joshua takes a bite and after one chew his eyes go wide.

"y/n!"

"What is it!?" You asked slightly panicked.

"THis is the best cake I have ever had in my few years of living!" He yelled, mouth still full of cake.

"Haha I'm glad, But be careful babe. I don't want you to choke and die on your birthday" you laugh and then get a napkin and another plate for yourself.

"You'd save me though, right?" He gave you his signature eye smile and you instantly bop his nose.

"Maybe" you tease

Joshua gives a huge gasp and clutches his chest. "I'm hurt love. Really hurt"

You just laugh and take a bite out of the distorted looking slice of birthday cake.

"You know," Joshua starts "I really am greatful for you. You always are there for me. We can do dumb things together and not feel bad. My mom always asked me about you and I just can't stop myself from telling her about all of our adventures and... you're it"

You're heart fills up with warmth as Joshua kisses your forehead and starts to rub his thumb on the back of your hand.

"Sometimes I wonder if I'm even doing the right thing," he continues and pulls out a small box " but it's nights like these where I feel we truly connect and I know, you're the person I wanna be with for the rest of my life. It's you"

You didn't know when you started crying and neither did Joshua but you both knew that no matter what you two would be together forever and nothing could change that.

[7:45am]

"hey, wake up" you hear a low voice whisper followed by a warm hand softly touching your shoulder.

you mumble before turning over and trying to go back to your slumber.

"Y/n come on, you gotta get up baby" the voice said again a bit louder.

"No Changkyun, 10 more minutes" It got silent after you said that. You had thought your boyfriend gave up and let you sleep, but to your surprise no less than a minute later you hear yelling and feel someone jump on to the bed screaming Get Up.

This woke you straight up and Changkyun started to laugh.

"I'm sorry baby," he said between giggles then reached over and kisses your forehead "I made you breakfast!"

He then runs out of the room leaving you in the bed that looks like a hot mess, and a mixture between anger and love for your boyfriends annoying way of waking you up.

"Y/n, you better be out of that bed or I'm gonna start screaming again!"

[1:00pm] The hushed snow fell against the ground as you looked out the window. Renjun was in line ordering two hot beverages for the both of you to cope with the cold weather outside. You and Renjun weren’t dating, just very good friends. Did you want something more? Of course, but because of insecurities and the though of ruining your friendship with him, there was nothing much to do except stare at the fallen snow.

“Y/n look at this!” Renjun yells. You watch him as he slightly bounces behind the lopsided snowman he created. “Quick take a picture of us!”

“Okay okay” you giggle. Pulling out to phone and clicking into the camera.

You pause.

“What’s wrong?” Renjun questions at your suddent change

“he’s missing something” you pull off your earmuffs and walk towards the snowman and gently placing it on the top of the head. The snowman was now complete

“Okay say ‘snowman’!” You bring the camera up and capture the sweet image of Renjun cutely grinning next to the snow person. “Perfect”

“Lemme see!” Renjun runs towards you.

You giggle at his childishness and lean on his shoulder as you both look at the picture.

“I like it.” He smiles. “Lets take one together, yeah?”

You nod your head in excitement and get ready to take a selfi. Renjun switches to the front camera and wraps his arm around your shoulder.

“You ready?” He looks over at you and can’t help but giggle at your cuteness. You look up at him and you both are very close to each other.

“I’m ready” you smile.

Though you both were ready for the picture, neither one of you looked away from each other. Renjun looks at your lips for a split-second and puts down the phone and leans in, and He stops for a moment looking deeply into your eyes as if he was asking for permission. You nod your head and pull him and fill the space between you and him. It was a quick peck but once you both realize that you kiss, Renjun kisses you again and again and every peck he lingered on your lips a little longer.

After a few seconds he pulled away and opened his mouth to say something.

“Y/n-”

“-Y/N!?” You shoot up to the suddent slap of reality and looked at Renjun who looks concerned.

“Are you okay?” He questioned, placing your drink in front of you.

You feel the heat rise in your cheeks knowing that you just dreamed of making out with your close friend and crush.

“Ha ha yeah… I-I was just thinking”.

“About what?” He asked.

“Nothing that concerns you, so what drink did you get?” You say quickly to change the rising subject.

“Hot coco… wow what you were thinking about must have been really embarrassing because your cheeks are super red.” He laughs pointing at your now shy state.

“shut up before I tell everyone that you still sleep with your baby blanket.”

“OKAY OKAY FINE GOSH-"he puts his hands up and muttered ”-its not like you were thinking about us kissing"

To his surprise you didn’t hear him. And for the rest of the time he was a little flustered being with you because, while in line Renjun created a whole scenario in his head where he finally had the guts to confess to you and this was a date.

But unfortunately is was all just a daydream

You immediately stop talking and stare at the boy in font of you, who isn't phased by his suddent question. You feel the heat rise to your cheeks.

"Renjun? Um w-what?"

"Can I kiss you?" He asked again but this time he moves a bit closer.

"I-uh..we-" You stutter, trying to process what is happening.

In the midst of your montfunction, Renjun gently places his hand on top of yours. You freeze at his suddent actions and look at him again.

"I'm sorry I asked that. I've liked you for a while now and I don't know, I just thought you looked really amazing today and I really wanted to-"

"You can." You say

Now was the time for him to stare at you in shock. You rearrange your hand that is still under his to where you are now holding his own

"Renjun, I said you can kiss me"
