Council Chairman: 5 years ago… maybe it would’ve been better if we’d just accepted our fate that day.

You’ll simply drift and float if you fall.

Kurumi: I think that’s also due to the power of our Star Uniforms… and of the Holy Tree… Sakura: Isn’t the moon’s gravity lighter, though? Kurumi: The gravitational pull here in the colony is set to be the same as the gravity on Earth. Sakura: My body feels so light… light enough that I’m starting to get sleepy… Hinata: Sakura-chan is ALWAYS sleepy, isn’t she?! Sakura: Now that you mention it, I suppose that is true.

Yuri: I know it’s difficult to concentrate after so many consecutive battles, but please try to keep your fighting spirit up. We’ve got more enemies coming in ahead. Kaede: Goodness… there truly are a lot of them… Hinata: Do you really think we can win…? You: Your opponents may be strong, but it’s not like there’s an infinite amount of them coming in. You: We’ll steadily work on bringing that number down! That way, I’m sure we’ll be able to defend the moon! Miki: Yeah, we’ve got this! We can totally do it!

Fuuran: Moon Crest lacks the power to fight those drones. They’re going to take serious damage if we don’t do anything. Anko: Jeez, t-they really are in danger, then! Fuuran: That’s why I’m counting on you guys for this.

Miki: We’ll defend Moon Crest! Subaru: Yeah, of course we’ll go! Haruka: I could never stand back and allow so many people to get hurt. Renge: I’ll do it for all the cute girls up there.

Sakura: It’s not like we really have a choice this time around anyway. Hinata: If Sakura-chan’s going, Hinata will do her very best too! Kaede: It is a Sendoin’s duty to lead their people down the path to greatness. Mimi: I wonder if we can pull this off…

Cunning Legislator: It’s because of you, the leader of the Hoshimori, that we were unable to stop the Irousu’s invasion, and that humanity was defeated! Itsuki: …And that’s precisely why… Young Bespectacled Legislator: Hm? Itsuki: That’s why I continue to fight, even now! I still carry the guilt of what happened five years ago! Self-Important Legislator: You still dare to defy us/Turned on us?! Then, perhaps we should try you for your crimes as a war criminal! Senate: No objections! Senate: Nooo objections! Itsuki: It seems this is the farthest my own power could get me… I’m sorry, everyone… Parliament Guard: I- I have an incoming report! Calm Female Legislator: What is it? Battle Girl Wiki: Combo

Battle Girl Wiki Entry – Combo

Here we’ll explain Combos, an essential technique that holds the key to success in battle.

About Combos

If you’re able to land an attack within the designated window of time, you’ll see something called a COMBO count begin to increase. As soon as that combo reaches a certain number, your skill will immediately activate, so it might be good to think carefully about timing your skill usage. Raising your combo up to a certain point will also increase your Combo Damage, so it’s important to try not to break that combo.

▲ The「27＋54」in the upper right displays your damage. The white「27」is your normal damage, and orange「+54」indicates your additional combo damage.

Combo Damage

By increasing your combo, you have the potential to deal an additional 200% of your regular damage through combo damage. (See the table below.) You can triple your total damage, so make sure not to break your combo when facing particularly tough enemies.

※ During attacks with 2~3 beats, all combo damage will reflect that of the first hit. (Example: If you land 4~6 consecutive hits on a 3-beat attack, the combo damage on all three will be 50%.)

Effect of the「Combo Damage UP」Friendship Skill

In the table below, you can see the effects of the「Combo Damage UP」Friendship Skill: an additional increase to your existing combo damage. Also, if several members in your party have this skill, you can stack the effect for even higher bonuses.

Keeping your combo going in the event of an emergency

It can take a long time to build up a combo, so if an emergency occurs during that time and you need to escape, it’s okay to do something like the following sequence「Attack→Attack→ Emergency Escape→Attack」 If you attack immediately after an Emergency Escape, it will be counted towards your combo. Also, you can evade up to two times in a row without breaking your combo.

Missing Attacks

Because you can build up a combo at anytime throughout the battle, it’s okay to miss attacks sometimes. It’s good to keep this in mind if you want to get to a safe place to activate a recovery skill.

Combo Timing

Timing varies between 2-beat and 3-beat weapons, so be sure to carefully check what kind of weapons you’re making and using.

In battle, there are various items you can use to grant you special effects. Here, we’ll explain the specifications and effects of Battle Items.

Battle Item Specifications

When it comes time to leave for battle, you’re able to choose what effects you’d like to use in the coming fight.

If you want to use a Battle Item, set its status to ON when setting up for that coming battle

You can only store up to 5 uses of an item at a time.

You can only use one of each effect at a time

Effects recover at a rate of 1 per hour

Battle Item Effects

By using Battle Items, you can double the amount of things like Experience Points and Treasure Chests you earn in combat.

If AUTO is turned ON, you can press the AUTO button in battle, and you’ll attack and move automatically in combat.

Furthermore, if you press the AUTO button a second time, you’ll attack at twice the normal speed, which is convenient for when you’re aiming to collect materials

Itsuki: I’m here to address the matter of your drone usage. You were supposed to leave Earth’s recapture to the Ark of Stars, and refrain from meddling in our operations. Itsuki: Why don’t you tell me what led you to violate that agreement? Self-Important Legislator: We’ve received word that the Ark of Stars’ efforts have been proven to be completely futile. Calm Female Legislator: We’ve come to suspect that your “Recapture Lessons” are what you’ve been calling your missions for Earth’s recovery. Young Bespectacled Legislator: Do you really think you can reclaim Earth using such childish, playful tactics? Itsuki: The Holy Tree bestows its power upon the pure hearts of our Hoshimori girls. Itsuki: Which means that if something were to crush their hearts, the Holy Tree would revoke that power, wouldn’t it? Cunning Legislator: That’s exactly why we want to recover Earth without relying on the power of the Holy Tree. Self-Important Legislator: That’s the consensus we’ve all come to here, and it’s the very best plan there is for Earth’s recapture! Calm Female Legislator: Don’t you agree?

Itsuki: I don’t agree, actually. We still have yet to figure out the Irousu’s true nature. Itsuki: And we don’t understand the truth of the miasma that drove us off Earth in the first place yet either. Itsuki: In fact, that miasma has caused the Moon Drones to malfunction and go rogue. It’s likely done the same to your Martian Drones… Young Bespectacled Legislator: We have indeed lost control of them. That particular strategy was a failure. Cunning Legislator: However, that failure opens the path to a subsequent success… we have no intention of stopping our advancements. Chairman: The Mars Cooperative has been pushing ahead with their original plan for taking Earth back and mass producing drones. Chairman: If they succeed in reclaiming Earth via drones, then… Chairman: The Mars Cooperative will take control of Earth. And that means…!! Itsuki: Moon Crest is in quite the unfavorable position. You forced all those people to go to Mars after denying them permission to immigrate here, didn’t you? Chairman: You have to understand where I’m coming from… my stance on the matter… and that I truly am sorry… Chairman: I wonder if the Mars Cooperative’s drones will fall victim to the miasma, and meet the same fate…

Narration: ….. Itsuki: …Even if we drive Irousu off Earth, humanity will never be able to come together as a nation again. Itsuki: What a dreadful thought… Chairman: You youngsters accept change so easily, but we here are not so young. Itsuki: No… even I didn’t want to accept this…

Narration: …… Chairman: I’ve talked on for far too long. I’m sorry… Itsuki: I understand our current situation. Now then, if you’ll excuse me. Chairman: Ms. Yakumo…?! You’re going back to the colony?! Itsuki: No, not with things as they are right now. I’m going to the Mars Cooperative. Chairman: B-But for you to go there, as a member of the Ark of Stars…!
