For all of you who are confussed.

English might seem complicated, but it can be understood through tough thorough thought, though.

“When you start supporting a football club, you don’t support it because of the trophies, or a player, or history, you support it because you found yourself somewhere there; found a place where you belong.”
Many times, the parent-child relationship has been a slippery slope for many. Do you ever feel that your grown kids don't like you?
U.S. college textbook prices have risen more than 1,000% since 1977. Because college students are forced to purchase every book their professors choose, they are considered ‘captive customers’. Due to a student’s obligation to buy these books no matter what they cost, prices have increased at 3x the rate of inflation.

In February 1984, nurse Genene Jones was sentenced to a maximum term of 99 years for the murder of 15-month-old Chelsea McClellan. Testimony showed the little girl had died after injections of succinylcholine, a hard to detect paralytic. An expert witness stated at her trial that the drug has long been a favourite for killing because it is difficult to trace. Under Texas law, a 99 year term is the equivalent to a life sentence, meaning she is eligible for parole.
Jones was also charged with using the drug to harm six other children at a physician’s office where she had worked for 3 weeks. It is believed her motive was a need to prove there were enough sick children to justify construction of a paediatric intensive care unit in Kerrville, Texas. However the scope of her criminal behaviour also extended to a hospital in San Antonio, Texas, where she was charged with injuring at least one child. Investigators believe that as many as 46 babies and children were murdered at the San Antonio hospital during the time Nurse Jones worked there. It is believed that the children were given injections that stopped their hearts. A team of experts from the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia, found that seven children had been killed by a deliberate overdose of the heart drug digoxin. Digoxin was not ruled out in at least 21 other deaths. Jones was never tried for these homicides.
Violence has steadily declined over the course of human history, and we are currently in the midst of the most peaceful era yet. (source)
How to tell if your digital addiction is ruining your life
by Terri R. Kurtzberg
Some people fear we’re interacting more with our phones at the expense of our loved ones. Ana Blazic Pavlovic/Shutterstock.com
The fear that digital distractions are ruining our lives and friendships is widespread.
To be sure, digital addiction is real. Consider the 2,600 times we touch our phones every day, our panic when we temporarily misplace a device, the experience of “phantom vibration syndrome” and how merely seeing a message alert can be as distracting as checking the message itself.
This can have real consequences. For example, other people do take it personally if you stop talking to them to answer a message. And taking a break from a task to look at your cell phone precludes deep thinking on whatever you were doing.
But this tells only part of the story. We need to also acknowledge that today’s technologies can make us more connected than ever before.
So how do we avoid the potential pitfalls while still reaping the benefits?

Mr Cruel was the moniker given to a serial pedophiliac rapist who targeted young girls in Melbourne during the 1980′s and 90′s. In total he is suspected of having four victims, three of the girls were raped, and one of them was abducted, raped, and murdered. Above is the sketch showing the balaclava that he was described to be wearing during his attacks.
His victims were all between the ages of 10 and 13, and he showed a particular talent in concealing his identity and removing forensic evidence. He would conduct surveillance on the families he was targeting before the attacks, and would divert police and family members away from his identity following the commission of the crime. He was also known to threaten the lives of the children he targeted, typically saying he would kill them with a knife or with a handgun. His final suspected victim was killed by three gunshot wounds to her head.
Mr Cruel’s crimes were well planned. He is thought to have taken photographs or video of his victims during his attacks. He would ensure to cut all phone lines and would abduct the children, bringing them to a second location where he would sexual assault them - on one occasion for 50 hours - and restrain them on a bed using a neck brace. He would bathe the children after the assaults to ensure that no evidence was left. All of the victims he let go following the assaults, with the exception of his final victim, who he killed. That being said, because he left such little evidence and there was no surviving victim of the assault - it’s not possible to say definitively whether the murder was carried out by the same person who perpetrated the earlier abductions and rapes.
It’s time to unplug more!
We know it’s rude to be on our phones in the company of others. But it’s also important to occasionally unplug when you’re by yourself. Because it can improve your wellbeing. Psychotherapist Nancy Collier says, the next time you’re alone, like standing in line, or in a waiting room, don’t take out your phone to check email or scroll through Instagram. Because being open to your own thoughts gives you strength, confidence, and wisdom. Plus, Dr. Collier says no one will approach you if your face is buried in your phone. And small talk with strangers can improve our wellbeing for hours afterward. So be comfortable in your own company once in a while – and see if you don’t feel better for it.

Humans need a leader to follow and believe in. To show them the way and the path to survival. The leader instils the values the goals for the group they are leading. The group will only follow a leader if the leader represents the interest and values of the group. Leadership for a group of varied interests and values is hard and generally not long term. This is what happens in a normal democratic government.
Democratic governments are volatile. The leaders represent the values of the nation of the time and epoch. Leaders become popular if they appear to know what the people want, and they are ousted if they are out of touch with the populace.
But there are many other types of leaders that influence and lead groups of humans. Political leaders are one, but there are religious leaders, Heroes, idols, cult leaders and of course business and organisational leaders. They all seem to have one common thing; they are the focal point in a group, and they are influential on how the group behaves.
A society have several means of controlling its members to conform to the values and laws set. The leaders of a community make sure that there is something in place that the status quo remains. Control of humans varies depending on the society and the society’s values
There have been several methods over the ages that the humans have used to control their own species. Some of these include.
v Violence
v Psychological control and fear
v Genocide. Extermination of an entire race or type of human.
v Deception and manipulation
The concept of having laws is that the laws enable the society to function harmoniously. Justice and Fairness is the main ingredient of having fair and just laws. Unfortunately, equity in society is not always there. Even though the laws may be fair, their enforcement may not. In society there are always dominant parties that would like to take control of society. This is a trait how humans relate to each other. It has been an observation in our species that some humans want control on what is going on and make sure others comply. It may be their need to feel safe. But there are always many other ways to achieve this. One way is cooperation and honesty. Common goals and thinking and designing humanity’s future together.
After months of negotiations, Nine News correspondent Tom Steinfort was given rare permission to travel to North Korea. There he worryingly discovered a coun... It is so sad to see that humans still...
It is so sad to see that humans still want to kill each other. There has to be a better way to exist.
Sharing knowledge and love is the way to go. We are all one race and we all we born of one mother in Africa a long long time ago.
So sad.
