Sounds exciting actually, or more relaxing. We all gotta have a break to sleep and eat and all that, while putting in some work. Though maybe you should go out more. The sun is awaiting to see you Lottie. Nothing honestly. Mostly the same, I’ve started drinking! That’s always fun, mostly to test out the whole being 21 thing. I dunno, I feel pretty badass now.

I guess, though I'm more of a stay at home kind of person.

Drinking? That does sound badass, although I'm not a fan of alcohol. I'm a total lightweight, and a bit of a crazy drunk.

Lets just say one of my more rebellious teenage friends convinced me to give drinking a go. It was not an experience I would like to repeat.

Ryan chuckled as Lottie jumped upon his arm looping around her shoulder. At least she hadn’t fully developed that hunter reaction yet – he’d almost anticipated her throwing a punch or something of that sort. Hell, Ryan knew he probably would’ve thrown a fist and asked questions later. “Nahh, just little ol’ me,” Ryan answered simply to Lottie’s words, rubbing his hand against her back briefly before tucking his hands back into the pockets of his jacket. Fortunately she was quick to get herself back in check, only taking a moment to recover from her fright. “Late night training?” Ryan echoed, lifting the corner of his lips in a lopsided grin, “What kind of training where you planning on? I can tag along if you like.” Lottie wasn’t the regular carbon copy of a hunter. Instead she was a teenager who had been through a rough experience, her former boyfriend proving to be a werewolf who had transformed and attacked her, leaving an angry stretch of pinkish flesh along her neck, across her face. She wanted to be certain she could protect herself if anything were to occur again and for that Ryan didn’t blame her. However she wasn’t much for handling weapons, giving a yelp of fear at the backlash of the guns she’s worked with, or even if one went off in her vicinity she would jump. There had been improvement over the past few weeks as far as Ryan had seen from her, but he hadn’t worked with her in a while. “I mean, I wouldn’t want you to keep walking in the dark by yourself anymore anyway,” He added, giving a slight nod, “So you’re stuck with me whether you want me to join in your training or not, since I have nothing better to do.” His shoulders shrugged up and down once upon her question of what he was doing walking the streets at this hour, “I just came out for a breath of fresh air, it seemed like a nice, quiet night and I was busy inside all day.”

When Ryan offered to join Lottie on her walk, she gave a small sigh of relief.  Although she was now a hunter, she still had a healthy fear of the dark creatures that roamed the night and was relieved that she now wouldn’t have to make the short walk to the Militia alone. Ryan was one of the more accomplished hunters, and one of the few who didn’t snicker at her yelps when training. Lottie trusted the man, although she had been told she trusted to easily there was something about him that made her feel safe in his presence.  Smiling up at the man, she replies to his query “I would love for you to join me, I could use the company”.  The dark night felt a lot safer with Ryan by her side, she felt confident and secure. “Not that I’m scared or anything’ she adds quickly, not wanting to seem weak, “just could use a chat.” Lottie then groans slightly, continuing to smile, knowing her last comment probably backing up the idea that she had been frightened. She didn’t want to seem venerable, especially in front of an accomplished hunter.

Determined to prove herself, she picks the toughest training she can think of “I was planning on doing some shooting, you know the usual” she said, trying to seem as casual as possible. In truth, Lottie much preferred hand-to-hand combat as she was small and quick, managing to dodge almost all attacks. Shooting required strength and aim, both in which she lacked, not to mention her yelps of fright whenever the gun went off.
