someone pls indulge me in this: muse a is a party girl who doesn’t really believe in relationships, free and flippant. in fact, the only person she does seem to care the most about is her best friend, muse b — her total opposite, a compassionate sweetheart and a total romantic. muse b insists that muse a will find her true love, and muse a scoffs at the thought … that is, until muse b gets engaged to a total dud of a loser and muse a starts to realize that maybe the person she’s actually been in love with all along is about to marry the wrong person.

okay so what about a dude (he doesn’t necessarily have to be a jerk) who had just gotten his heart broken? and he’s got this selfless, sweet and nice neighbor who helped him through his heart ache. they’ve spent a lot of time together, and things happen so fast, he finds himself falling for her?! and she reciprocates his feelings, too. they’re both happy, and they just love each other, but everything’s just too good to be true. flashback to several months later, she starts to doubt him, and realizes that she might just be a rebound. but for him, he knows well that she’s not. to make things more complicated, his ex comes back and and wants him back. but she’s too nice, so she let him go, which hurts him.
and honestly, this could go everywhere. i need this like air.
highkey i want one of those nice ass ships where they eventually get engaged and then married and they experience married life and having kids / adopting kids and marital bliss but also the struggles but happily married ppl so in love with each other fuck
