The only thing that annoys me about books turned in to movies is that it loses its accuracy and detail. I understand we want it to come to life but we also see the book differently in our heads. I love the Twilight Saga books but after I read them I did not want a love like Edward I just liked the memory. I feel as if because of this movies people really want to fall in love ans have there life not realizing he is a vampire and vampires do not exist (as of our knowledge). I just want everyone to get back to reality. Vampires are predators and they will not think twice about sucking you dry.

Reflection

My love vampires did not come until I read Twilight. I used to be scared of them that's why i never watched old vampire movies. The first one i saw when I was 6 was Blade. I got so scared my mom took me out the theater. See it was not my choice to go but mt older bother. But I got older and started reading and then book vampires became my life. I read every vampire book that caught my eye. My all time favorite is Vampire Academy, this book was more then a love story it was life or death of her kind and the vampires they call Morni. I fell in love with the main character Rose. She is so independent, stubborn, lovable, and can kick butt. She was not a vampire though she was guardian of vampires. My love of books caused me to lose myself in each page I read. I even took the book shopping with me and mom 4 years ago. She was not exactly happy I was still reading when I needed to try on an outfit. With this books I forgot about all the scary ones but it did help me appreciate the ones i used to scared of. So i watched more movies like all the Blades and The Underworld movies. Everyone's take on vampires is so different, some even have hybrids. That makes things fun. I just love to learn new tales and dive myself in to them

I love twilight as much as the next person but he was not suppose to fall for her he is a vampire ans she is human. She is his meal and thats how its suppose to be. But with this movies it gave all females hope that they can find love in a vampire and that they are no long dangerous creatures. So no one is scared anymore they think the vamp will not hurt them

This what i am trying to get at. It seems as if they are trying ti soft the characters to make them less scary but more lovable and with that love the creature loses its reputation as evil or bad.

The New World Of Vamps

This is what we picture vampires to be like. Scary night creates with nothing but blood on the mind. No feelings but hungry, well do anything to get a bite. Straight attack or seduce. This vampires we think about can not see there reflection and fear garlic. Some hunters believe the cross helps keep the vampires at bay because they are unholy creatures. This creatures can not go out in the sun or they will die, they also can be killed easily with a wooden stake but it had to go  through the heart or they will not be dead. This all we used to think about until authors that created The Twilight Sage, The House Of Night, Vampire Diaries, and Vampire Academy.  All of this books bought a new take on the vampire world. I will only be talking about one series and that will be 

                                            The Vampire Diaries 

This is a picture of Ellen, she used to be human. It is a long story how she became a vampire. The vampires in this series are similar to the old myths but also different. This vampires fall in love with humans instead of feed on all of them. You would think vampires can not have emotions but they can. When they do not feel is when they turn there emotions off. But that talk is for another time. In this series vamps can see there reflections and basically look like regular human beings. They do not have pale skin. The only time you can tell they are different is when they can not go out in sunlight or enter someones home without them saying it was ok. To become a day walker they befriend witches who giv. e them daylight charms. With out this charm they will burn up and die in the sun just like old school vampires. They can also die by stake through the heart only if you can catch them. They also have a weakness from this plant called vervain it weakest there powers and can also make hard for them to move. Feeding is the only way to take the pain away. But this vamps have a choice if they care going to feed on a human they do not have to drain them dry they take what they need and compel them to forget. Oh compelling is a gift all vampires have someone have it stronger then others. If a human is wearing vervain they can not compel them or do anything to them for that matter. But we also have this myth about how vamps are not born but created. But how were this created? It was this original vampires. They were created by this spell there mother cased on them. She was a witch. The originals can not be killed only desiccated with a special dagger. This dagger puts them in a sleep like coma. After a while someone found out how they can be killed.    By the tree they were created with, a white oak tree. Stake am original and you kill there blood line, ever vampire they created. No matter how immortal you feel you can be killed.

This article tells about how most people were accused of vampirism by just dying from a disease that other caught after he died. I feel as if the vampire hunters did not have 'legitimate power' others would not follow. But do the public that does not understand the hunters may seem like they know more and the public rather follow someone who seems like they know then be in the dark unsafe.
