I lost track of the days I never wrote for my book lmao

Aight so I have stuff to do now that my holidays are over, and although I like writing it is still tiring, so I haven’t wrote much recently. I got idea for short story and I’m writing that now too so rip to my book progress.

Yeah I originally created this blog to stay consistent by updating every day, we’ve come a long way from that point XD

yo question for the script writers out there.

Is there a word for a camera angle that's behind a character that isn't "back shot"?

I doing something and I don't want those who will see the script to think I'm some kind of gooner.

Disappointment

I just gave up on writing for like 30 minutes because I thought it was too much work to come up with a fake address so I spent the time doomscrolling instead. This is a tragedy

Brain: You have to start writing fast, what if you are unable to complete your work? Also what if someone does the idea before you get to? Others and the world ain't waiting for you!

Also Brain: Ok since the constant doomscrolling has taken a lot out of you and its already night time its ok if you don't wanna write today, but the grind resumes starting tomorrow. *doesn't touch the work in 10 days*

There are two types of writers

Type 1: I love my characters, I can't bring myself to hurt or kill them because I'm too emotionally attached to them >M<

Type 2: Yeah I love my characters *tortures them for 100 pages*

This is an emergency SOS situation as I’ve tried everything

All I have to do to publish is a final read through but after I changed the margins my file is now corrupt

Does anyone have any advice on how to get my completely finished book back? Or will I have to start all over again…

This is the point I am at

I wrote so little these past few days that I’m starting to reason with myself, I keep telling myself, “if you don’t write sooner, you might die before you complete your book cause you could die anytime” as a way to foster motivation.

Idk if that’s healthy but yeah

Spended 1 hour brainstorming about how to continue my story just to use the way I originally came up with in like 5 seconds

Day 18 - 23 of writing book

Ngl I was too embarrassed to post my progress on past few days because I had close to 0 progress. But then today I was like why do I feel devoid of emotion and linked it to literally doing nothing (Even though it’s the holidays now) so I forced myself to write and I actually wrote 1000 words. I might not be happy with what I wrote down the road though so I might delete some stuff.

Being productive is kinda a flash in the pan for me but when I actually get stuff done it feels nice

Do y'all write something you think is bad but you have no idea why it is bad you just feel like what you wrote sucks and want to delete it

I wrote like 500 words these past 3 days

I wrote 200 words today and I was like "this shit is trash" so I deleted it all then I was not in the mood to write anymore.
