HRW “DEEPLY CONCERNED”

The Human Rights Watch is deeply concerned of the recent coup against the democratically-elected Prime Minister Modi. It has dispatched an observer (Min Byung Chae) to observe the situation. Unless the new government promises to uphold all of India's human rights obligations, the HRW will be skeptical of this change in government. Nonetheless, the Human Rights Watch remains vigilant of the situation; it will continue to serve as the impartial watchdog in human rights.
