How the recycling and de-inking process works. Remember the less ink coverage, the easier the recyclability of the paper.

sustainability
Sustainability really is a big deal for me. However, it doesnât come from a moment of enlightenment that led to environmental consciousness, it has a lot more to do with how I was raised. I donât take more than I need because I was raised not to. I was raised not only to finish my food but to make sure that the amount of food I was putting on the plate in the first place was appropriate and that the things on my place were giving me was I actually needed. But to waste that food wasnât just a disservice to those that could have eaten it but to the numerous levels of sacrifice around every step between the earth and my plate (the food system, commerce and even whoever cooked it). I was taught that greed held an inherent wrongness, and that these practices propagate wrong in our lives. I was taught that every action has a reaction. I was taught not to live outside of my earning. I was told that I shouldnât have things that I canât afford, and that itâs ok. My mom has always taught me to be conservative and sustainable in a much more wholesome philosophical way.
It is hard to say âwhat I would do Monday morning.â When I work Iâm very conscious of how I use my resources. I never print anything that doesnât absolutely have to be printed and even then, I make sure to print it right so that paper/ink/my time doesnât get wasted. There is a lot of thinking that goes on before I invest too much of my energy into any particularly idea, minimizing the risk of devoting my time in vain. Sustainability is a philosophy Iâve literally grown up with.
Sustainability is a cultural argument. It is uncontroversial to say that our priorities manifest themselves in how we do things. In a country defines itself capitalist firstly, it is perfectly legitimate that a corporationâs goal is to defend the capital of their investors. That is the same kind of place that views the education system as a functional, vocational tool and shapes its cities around ease for consumption. Sustainability has to become a more intrinsic element in American culture before it becomes a priority for large corporations. BP isnât necessarily to blame for what happened, though corporations do need to be held accountable, as much as the level of demand that forces, and allows, corporations to cut corners. I say that we need another industrial revolution, one that respects what we know now. I even think that capitalism can be a major player in pushing forward sustainability but this is kind of off topic.Â

This is for the cover of my sketchbook/journal. I printed this on a paper sack. I did that because if this was something really in production I would want it made of recycled materials.Â

Idk, I I don't want the line thicker than this for the bird it just looks weird. Â And I don't know what to do about the color. I really liked the white on the bird, but I do see what you mean about getting trapped in the center..Â
I removed the base of the light bulb. Â I posted some other variations below keeping my name at the bottom and using different fonts that would go more with the lines of the cloud. I am at a complete loss of what font I could use if I keep the cristina latino underneath the cloud. So I was toying around with this. Any suggestions as far as fonts that might match better
