Would you consider the Rafayel’s card from the banner entwined shadows important in terms of his lore and characterisation? I don’t know if I should pull for it or keep my dias for his 4th myth :/

Floral Promise is a pretty significant turning point in their relationship and offers more insight into their bond. I would definitely consider it up there!

I'm trying to be F2P right now, so I am prioritizing the myth but you can watch Floral Promise on YouTube to decide if you want to pull. I recommend the channel Lavender:

So I reality never posted the finished products from the lads pottery project I did. I think I’m going to be re-doing Xavier’s as it just didn’t fire how I hoped it would but Sylus’ bowl is my favorite. Caleb and zaynes are definitely going to be done some time this summer.

Thinking about how Deacon is close to 200 years old in my fic and how his vague description of "Barbara" could be because he has started forgetting his wife.

In my fic, Deacon didn't take any photos of Edith with him when he fled from Appalachia. He had never felt "worthy" of her, so he took his Edna's words to heart when she berated him as never having deserved marrying her sister. to begin with. By the time of Fallout 4, he regrets that decision.

Edna and Edith had been inseparable from the day they were born. That changed after Edith began falling for him and Edna resented him for it. When he showed up at her house to tell her that her sister had been murdered by his old gang her words were vicious and she threatened to kill him if she ever saw him again. He was too terrified of her to attend his own wife's funeral and watched it from afar, fleeing Appalachia soon after.

By the time Vault 111 opens, Edna's hate towards her sister's husband has lost its bite. When she discovers Deacon's identity she finds herself lacking the urge to hurt him that she had in her youth. She doesn't think her original opinion was wrong, per se, but killing him won't bring her sister back and she believes he is a different person than he was as Beckett.

#Edna carries a cord of bullets with the names of people she wants dead on them and his name is hanging from it.#Holding onto it is a top priority for her because vengeance has long been a part of her identity.#I think it would be a nice bit of symbolism if her character arc ends with her having to choose between saving the cord or saving him.#It didn't even occur to him to ask her to come to his rescue but she did it anyway.#Choosing to put her spite behind her and move towards a mildly more forgiving future.#Deacon FO4 #Beckett FO76 #Fallout #Fallout 4

Avery, sliding up to Tommy Lonegan: "Business Proposition!"

Avery: "You have alcohol, I know a settlement that needs a bar. Your place here is gorgeous, but the location sucks. You are a stone's throw away from a giant mutant who likes throwing rocks and you clearly aren't keen on your current clientele.

Avery: "Move your establishment and you can earn your caps without people trying to gun down would-be paying customers the second they walk in the door."

Edna, trying the wine: "Eugh. Abysmal..."

Deacon, shrugging: "Perfect for a raider."

"Questionable relationship with the truth" how does that apply to raf?

While he doesn't lie to the same extent as Deacon, he still does it whenever he sees fit, even if it is not necessary.

An example would be the line "So many seemingly inconceivable moments that could've been planned by someone… are actually just coincidences," from his Love's Silhouette. He is deliberately trying to control MC's perception of their meeting at Azure Square and paint it as both random and core to their relationship, despite it having pretty much no influence (her becoming part of his life was the result of her investigating the painting he sold to Raymond, not them meeting at Azure Square) and Azure Square being on his To-Do list the day she left the Hunter's Academy:

He didn't have to lie there, he could have easily just left his answer as "meeting you in Azure Square", but lying benefited him so he did. From what I have seen his lies always have a reason, even if that reason is kinda dumb (like making himself look good).

Deacon, on the other hand, is a pathological liar but his lying isn't really about personal gain. The lies he tells his friends aren't supposed to be believed. He has a deep-seated hatred of who he is and does not think that he deserves to be trusted, and he is also an ordinary man going up against an Ever-like group without the benefits of divine powers or plot armor (two of the four endings of the game involve the player betraying and killing him). Lies have become a shield he hides behind even though he himself says that he doesn't understand why he still tells them.
