Crazy that a show with a female centric ensemble cast should be canceled. I guess not crazy thatās the way it goes. Lame.
This is a good show but anyone who watches it should be forewarned of a massive cliffhanger for the last episode and there is no season 3 to fix it. There are books that somewhat resolve what happens but are poorly written. A travesty.

December 20. Here we come.
Today has been a make mama proud day. It is currently 12:20 pm. So far I: went to Starbucks, took my car to get washed and detailed, went to target for magic erasers, got gas, came home, scrubbed the entire exterior of my car with the magic erasers, cleaned Sammy's cage, cleaned and mopped the bathroom, took apart the vacuum and unclogged the hose, vacuumed the apartment, took a trash bags worth of clothes out of my closet, drove to goodwill and donated that bag as well as the bag that's been in my trunk since I moved in April, went to the good Aldi to pick up something I forgot yesterday, and then came back home. I've got the oven on for a frozen pizza and a marathon of mindhunter on the horizon. I haven't had the mental energy to do a lot of these things recently and I'm really excited that I got so much done!!!

Holy cow this is a game changer
Iāve created a system to help me stay in the zone while being kind to editing-me! I realised what interrupts my flow the most is fact checking/research, continuity, and not being able to get a phrase or sentence just right, so I assigned symbols to all three (@, %, and ā¬, for example, because I donāt use any of those in the text) and just leave them when I come to a bit thatās giving me trouble. This way I can search my whole manuscript for ā@ā, find the bits I want fact-checked, and fix them in one go!
I gotta be real i saw ādonāt researchā and almost had a coronary but this is actually solid advice. I do stop to research but my general rule of thumb is if i canāt find the answer in five minutes then the detail is too specialized and i go back to my story and write in something more general. My readers arenāt here for a treatise on military tactics in the Pacific theater in WW2. Do your readers care how long the Brooklyn Bridge is? Does that add to your story in a meaningful way? I find that āis this necessaryā is a much more helpful benchmark for me than āis this taking too long.ā And if you do need in-depth information Iād suggest doing that before writing, so youāre fitting your story to the facts and not the other way around. You donāt want to be desperately trying to locate one single fact that backs up your premise when you may be wrong from the jump.
