My coworker Bryan is still working on trying to see if Shasta can pull off a selfie.
That epic entrance by Baxter.
Which Ryer are you this week?
We can’t just hand them their food. That’s too easy. So today we put their food under some cones. Watch Tahoe really have to use his brain to figure out how to tip them over for the reward.

Ryer has to go in every single body of water that you create for him. In order.
Man, I forgot about this video. It’s such a good one!
Baxter, telling you all about it.

Sure has clean teeth for a Seal. Who knew?
Unlike river otters seals and sea lions have bacteria build up on their teeth. These bacteria have a symbiotic relationship with the pinnipeds, the bacteria has a place to grow and the seals have bacteria that helps cleanse their mouths. Black teeth are perfectly normal and healthy for pinnipeds. River otters like Baxter here don’t have that type of mouth and their teeth are usually white at all ages.
What do you think?
Oh! Hai.

There’s no denying these furry bundles of energy are cute, but spotted-necked otters are made for water. Sleek bodies, webbed feet, and a large flat tail help them to swim, while opposable “thumbs” allow them to use rocks to break open shells and get to the food inside.
