"immature" zine: issue 001 (digital)

"immature" zine is a zine dedicated to young creators and sharing their voices. This zine is a series of interviews with smaller creators under 21. Our mission is to encourage creators to learn from, connect with, and share with other creators. This issue of "immature" is 100% free! Any money given goes directly to keeping the zine running. You can further support us by donating to our Patreon and by following our Instagram and Tumblr. Feel free to print out your own copy to read as well!

meet the creators featured in our first issue of immature magazine!

aliya (she/her) Aliya is a 16 year old artist based in France. Her watercolor and digital art mainly shows everyday people living their daily lives and often includes pinks and purples. You can find Aliya on Instagram as @_missnerdy_

amy (she/her) Amy is a 19 year old Tumblr theme coder. She is currently at university studying business. Her themes are simple, clean and easy to use. You can find Amy here on Tumblr as @plaaastic

ana (she/her) Ana is a 15 year old artist and printmaker. She likes describing her art as chaotic, using mainly colored pencils and linoleum. Ana can be found on Instagram as @liichie

hannah (she/her) Hannah is a 15 year old Tumblr theme maker. She likes to make her themes functional while still looking nice. You can find Hannah on Tumblr as @clerihew

jake (he/him) Jake is an 18 year old musician. His music is calming with some experimental sounds. Jake’s music can be found on Bandcamp as @_amaranthine

josie (she/her) Josie is a 19 year old makeup artist. Her style is avant-garde with a little bit of glam. You can find Josie on Instagram as @sunshinethebee.

kate (she/her) Kate is a 15 year old makeup artist. Kate’s style is colorful and she often uses her whole face as a canvas. You can find her on Instagram as @katingphotos

nele (she/her) Nele is a 19 year old artist. Her art is mainly digital and she usually draws original characters, frogs, and other animals. Nele can be found on Tumblr as @nimfeemos

nisha (she/her) Nisha is a 18 year old makeup artist based in Toronto. Her goal with makeup is to encourage creativity and diversity. You can find Nisha on Instagram as @nsjmakeup 

taunty (she/her) Taunty is a 17 year old artist. Her art is made of pastel colors, simple lines, and playful characters. She often draws characters from video games such as Kirby and Animal Crossing. Taunty can be found on Instagram as @taumoki

tens (he/him) Tens is an 18 year old music producer based in California and Colorado. Tens describes his music as ambient and glitchy electronic music. You can listen to his music on Soundcloud as @tnns

(you)th has rebranded. we are now “immature” magazine! 

so whats been going on?

in the past few weeks we have been discussing how we want to make this magazine happen and what we need to do. we decided that the magazine would benefit from a different approach. instead of asking for submissions we’ve decided to do a series of interviews with various young creators.
