The NUON DVD Interactive standard? Yeah, it runs Doom.

This piece of homebrew is interesting in that it was the first piece of NUON homebrew to exceed the platform’s 4.5mb limit on such softwares by using it’s own replacement for the disc driver. Hardcore!

Thanks to NUON-Dome for the screenshots! Bottom photo is my own and entirely unrelated - I saw a real, working NUON at PAX last year and had to document that they apparently actually existed and weren’t just a fever dream I once had. Hey, those press photos of Jeff Minter(?) as a wizard were scary, man.
