IM SUPER SHOOK BY THAT STRANGER THINGS AD OMFG
lahcyisms:
“sounds like a plan then,” isaac nodded, taking a few steps back towards the sidewalk, before turning back to make sure she wasn’t far behind.
eleven waited, making sure he would walk like he said he would, then eventually fell into step behind him, although she was slower than usual. she was still drained, from using her powers, and she was getting slower by the second.
claircncvak:
claire was on her way back to her apartment — that was still such a weird thought — when she felt someone crash into her from behind. ❝ hey!! watch where — ❞ she began, but stopped once she turned around and faced the little girl. all the blood — was she in a fight? claire frowned, looking around for someone to beat up; whoever had done this to her. but no one was around, so she turned her attention back to the younger girl. ❝ i’m sorry, i didn’t mean to yell. are you okay? what happened? here — ❞ she said, digging through her purse and offering her some tissues to wipe away the blood. it was a good start, she supposed.
eleven began to turn and run again as soon as she heard the girl’s angry tone, but she didn’t make it one step without becoming light-headed. she wouldn’t make it more than ten feet without passing out, something that had actually happened to her before when using too much of her power. she winced and turned slightly back toward the girl, panting lightly. she accepted the tissues and wiped at her nostril before slowly sitting down on the ground, which automatically felt a lot better. she needed to get her strength up to run again. to hide again.
strawbansheeblonde:
To say that Lydia was confused when a girl with nose bleed and mysterious dark veins under her eyes ran into her was an understatement. She had seen a lot, though none of this, but she was pretty sure that this was no good sign. “Hey, are you okay?” Reaching out, Lydia placed a hand on the shoulder of the other female. “Can I help you? Do you need a place to rest? A doctor? Anything?” Opening her bag, she pulled out a tissue.
eleven spent most of her time either running or hiding. unless she was stealing. how else was she supposed to eat? she was helpless at this point. and she didn’t like reverting back to her old ways, but there was nothing else she could do. running and hiding meant she didn’t meet many people. except for one, just the day before. “isaac...” she murmured, almost looking around for him even as her eyes kept closing hen fluttering open.Â
bxgbywolf:
“I don’t give a shit, now get the fuck out of here before I get your shit store shut down,” he threatened and watched the male quickly walk back to his store. Turning to the girl, he let out a small sigh and knelt in front of her. “He’s gone now, you’re okay”
eleven opened her eyes just enough to look at the man in front of her and wavered on her feet for a moment before beginning to fall, but catching herself yet again, stumbling just slightly. she was in no condition to run, that much was obvious. plus this man seemed nice enough; maybe she wouldn’t have to.
lahcyisms:
“awesome!” isaac exclaimed, clapping his hands together once. “i guess we can just walk around and see what looks good? unless you had a specific place in mind?”
eleven was tempted to ask for eggos, but she didn’t think he wanted something like that. she shook her head. “no,” she replied. she was okay with walking around, but she knew she had to keep herself on the down low.
lahcyisms:
“okay. okay, great. because see, i’m new here and you’d be doing me a solid,” isaac chuckled. “i don’t know anyone, and i could use someone to show me the ropes. are you hungry? i’m starving. wanna get some food? my treat.”
el knew she wasn’t the best person to get him acquainted in the town. most of the people here either didn’t know she existed or knew her from stealing so many eggos from the grocery store. but she didn’t want him to go, so she didn’t argue against it. at the offer of food, she nodded her head swiftly. “yes, please.”
lahcyisms:
at the response, isaac could tell this kid was guarded— something no kid ever should be. kids should be carefree, or at least, that was what he assumed. he never really got that childhood either. “okay,” he nodded, not wanting to pry or push her. he knew that wouldn’t do any good. “well, can we hang out? is that okay?”
most people tried to keep pushing the idea of the hospital. they told her she needed to, that bleeding from her ears and nose weren’t normal. but they didn’t know the power she held within her. that the bleeding was normal, for her. she nodded immediately at his offer. it was relieving being around him. not feeling pressured to do anything or be a certain way. “yes...”
bxgbywolf:
He had been patrolling the streets, even if he wasn’t technically a sheriff here in whatever universe this was. Before he had a chance to do something, a girl basically ran into him and he looked down at her. There was a soft spot that Bigby had for children, especially one that looked like they were in serious trouble. “Hey, you’re alright,” he said as he walked in front of her, his eyes glowing a dark red at the male in that followed her.Â
eleven let him hide her behind his body, and she took the time to close her eyes and attempt to recover. she knew she needed to run again. she had to isolate herself for at least a few days. otherwise someone would take her away to a place she couldn’t get back from. again. she could barely hear as the man who’d been chasing her told him that she’d stolen food from the store, and had multiple times before, and that the cops needed to be called. right now, she just needed to get her strength up.
lahcyisms:
“eleven,” isaac repeated, before offering the girl a friendly smile. “my name is isaac,” he introduced, taking a small step closer to the girl. there was something about her that made isaac want to protect her. perhaps it was the similarities he saw in her to himself. “should i take you to a hospital or something? can you tell me what happened?”
at the man’s friendly smile, eleven softened visibly. the bad men never smiled. she knew that better than anyone. so... maybe he was good. she let him step closer and kept her curious eyes on his own, but shook her head swiftly at his offer, her expression hardening again. she couldn’t go to one of those places. it wouldn’t do anything but harm her more. “no.”
lahcyisms:
isaac couldn’t help but freeze on the spot when she moved back. he lowered his hands slightly when he realized what she must’ve thought— that he was going to hit her. that he was going to strike her, like his father had done to him. he quickly shook his head, lowering his hands slightly and slowly until they were back at his sides. “promise. i know you have no reason to trust me, but i promise.”
el hesitated yet again, giving him a suspicious look, then wiped the blood from her nose with her sleeve with a tilt of her head, as if silently testing him not to mess with her. she knew, though, that he wouldn’t. she could just see it in his expression. “...eleven,” she whispered at last, pressing a finger to her chest. she’d been in this city long enough to know that the bad men were not here, so she trusted the people enough to tell them her identity. even strangers like this man.
lahcyisms:
“oh— hi there,” isaac said, looking down at the younger girl, who seemed to be scared. of him? in general? he wasn’t really sure, but he instantly found himself holding his hands in the air, almost defensively. “hey, i’m not gonna hurt you, i promise. i’m sorry.”
eleven moved back again when he raised his hands up, but tilted her head to the side when she realized he was trying to show how he wasn’t going to hurt her. she took one tentative step forward and exhaled softly, muttering out a quiet word. “promise...?”
running away from the grocery store from which she’d just stolen food items had been tough, but after multiple uses of her powers, eleven had made it. she was running, blood dripping from her nose and veins blackening under her eyes, when she ran into someone, grunting and stumbling back. she just stared at them, her eyes barely opened, as she tried to not pass out then and there.
lahcyisms:
“ce n'est pas bien—” isaac mumbled under his breath, as he began walking down the streets of new york city aimlessly. last he recalled, he was in france— so how did he end up back in the united states and here, of all places? and why didn’t he know? it was then he turned the corner and almost bumped into someone. and he probably would have too, if it weren’t for his fast werewolf reflexes. “my bad, i wasn’t paying attention,” he admitted.
eleven jumped when someone almost ran into her, and she whirled around swiftly to see a man standing before her. she furrowed her eyebrows at him, taking a few small steps back, and gripped on tightly to the dirtied, pink dress she’d adorned. her shaved hair and bloody nose were enough to concern anyone, but she didn’t run from this man. something about him seemed... soothing. somehow. however, she just stared at him, lips pursing tightly.
warning: total badass
give eleven a warning label!
What warning label would you put on my muse?
tornapxrt:
Just because Kylo was away from the First Order and Snoke, doesn’t mean he’ll slack on his training. He swung his lightsaber like he was killing an enemy. He felt a presence behind him and used the force to throw an empty wooden crate in their general direction, not caring if it hit them or not. “Sneaking up behind me is a very bad idea.”
the man seemed... out of place. he had a glow sword of some kind, not unlike the toy one mike had at his house. naturally, eleven approached him, but kept as quiet as possible. it didn’t seem to matter anyway, though, because he seemed to use an invisible power, like her own, to throw a crate on her. but eleven had her own tricks. she tilted her head down, and suddenly the crate stopped in midair before it could hit her.Â
