What if when Steve was returning the stones back to there original places and he went to Vormir to return the soul stone alone, he got Natasha back, but in return for bringing Natasha back to life, he had to go back to the 40′s. Even though the deal could've just been Natasha for the stone, Red Skull played steve, and got him to give him the stone and go back to the '40s in return for Natasha’s life. So now Natasha is alive stuck on Vormir alone and nobody knows that Natasha is alone on Vormir or the fact that that's the real reason why Steve went back, having to leave Bucky, Natasha, Sam, and everyone else without a proper explanation beforehand.
