When the snow falls.

You know that first morning you wake up and it’s snowed?

The rooftops glisten white and the ground is pervaded in a soft white blanket of snow. It feels as though an angel has come in the middle of the night and left a blanket of happiness on the face of the Earth. There’s this excitement in your chest and it comes up your throat leaving a lump and you can’t wait any longer. You’re up and dressing in warm clothes before you know it and you’re running free amongst the crisp beauty of God’s art. Your shoes sink pleasingly and your fingers trail along the snow leaving traces of your fingers within the brilliant white. You’re suddenly alone in this world, just you and this magic that fell from the sky and nothing can invade this moment that’s stretching amongst the spaces of time.

That is what happiness feels like in physicality.

A better person...

The soul darkens and withdraws from the presence of evil that exists inevitably in a human heart losing its nur (light) against that which we do not realise is bad for us. We were made to struggle... And succeed. Don't stop struggling to be a better person, because tomorrow you'll be a better person than you were the day before.
