Logging off, don't know if I'll be on again today but... We'll see. Joker is being a real pain.
elsasnowqueenofarendelle and the-pleaser-of-crowds heard the laugh
"I just called you a witch just because there was no nicer term." He snapped seeing her keep her distance. "Why are you afraid, you are able to hurt me with what I’ve just seen. What are you? And how did you do that? It’s interesting really, and I’d love to know more? Do you have some form of weapon, or magic?" His words had horrible amounts of insanity, he seemed so intrigued with her now, continuing to smile and laugh. Reaching out, he attempted to grab her wrist in a quick snap, if he were to succeed he would pull her closer to him so it’d be harder to escape and examine her hand.
"And it’s so odd how you were able to hide it for some time. I wont hurt you of course, there is no reason for that, but I can see you as a wonderful recruit."
"Just because I am capable of defending myself doesn’t mean I still can’t be afraid of someone who killed and strung up a large amount of people’s corpses for decoration." She answered, "I’m just an odd person born with some icy powers." She quickly jumped back away from him and into the locked door. With a quick wave of her hand a line of icy spikes flashed between them.
"Don’t touch me." Elsa said in a cool tone. She didn’t like people touching her unless it was her sister or someone she was close to. "I’ll have to turn you down on the recruitment, I have things to do and a home to return to after this trip."
He laughed as she created the daggers between the two. "You truly are amazing with such abilities." Joker seemed to be enjoying this, it intrigued him in some way shape or form. "You'd like Mister Freeze, he uses ice as a horrible weapon too..." The clown stated, almost as though it weren't at all useful information. "Awwh, but you would have been so magnificent. Talk about a real party!" He told her about the recruitment thing.
"Now, might I ask, what exactly do you do that makes you so busy?" When Joker gets something in his head, he becomes curious shockingly.

That caught him off guard. Till now, Harvey was sure that if the clown wasn’t fully responsible, he was connected to disappearances in some way. Knowing this really wasn’t the case, he had to look away and stop his coin, catching it mid air. Joker’s explanation would be plausible, but something still didn’t fit.
“It’s not his style to leave blood on the scene. At least not as much as I’ve seen." Glancing up again, Two Face clutches the fist that hid the coin while trying to think of another possibility himself. "Maybe Falcone is involved. The son of a bitch doesn’t know his place.”
"Batman does leave blood on the scene of his take downs rather frequently..." He paused for a moment, then continued. "...But if it's a lot then I could say it was somebody else..." The clown didn't really care, but he could gain something from this. "With most thugs, sure why not. But Falcone would never mess with my own. The bastard may not know where his place is, but he does know I could kill him without him even knowing." With this the clown laughed, in truth, he could kill almost anybody by just putting on a disguise. Especially Falcone. Plus, he aided him earlier by giving him bombs, so that man still owes him a favor.
"Maybe that bird brain Penguin did it... Or the Police, they're always shooting down thugs for no good reason... I could also see Bane going ahead and doing that... Possibly Black Mask, oh wait, is he even alive? No I don't think so." He spoke of Black Mask rather insultingly with laughs and chuckles there.
arcana-muses, conjunctum, and thevindictiveserpent heard the laugh
"W-Well, um…"
The young woman shuffled on both feet, shifting her weight to and fro. This was a little awkward, to say the least. So the rundown of the whole situation was that Seth had gone on an impromptu trip to the grocery store at 1 AM. Why? Because she had been out of milk. And on this escapade, some trenchcoat guy she quickly identified as a typical Gotham creeper had stalked her from behind a cereal display as if she wouldn’t notice. Needless to say, once she’d made her leave, Seth ended up running across the same guy not five minutes later and had to run for it. After a couple of wrong turns, she’d quickly come to the realization that she was completely and utterly lost. So she had slowed to a walk, the precious milk miraculously still tucked in the crook of her arm… and had somehow come across the Joker’s hideout?
Sometimes, Seth wondered how she ever managed to get herself into these sorts of situations. Not that she’d ever been unlucky enough to run into the Joker before, but it was something she could take note of later.
"I’m actually a little lost." A nervous chuckle left the nurse, and she again shifted her weight, balancing the milk in her arm. "Sorry for b-being a bother?"
Well, what was she supposed to say to a criminal mastermind, anyways?
Watching her shuffle awkwardly, he patiently awaited the answer. Of course, patience for him always ran thin before anybody else knew what was happening. So this new comer should speak soon in a proper way, which she did of course, this staunched his impatient attitude from growing. If he had known that she was basically chased her, maybe he wouldn't be the way he is now. But at the moment, being lost was no excuse to come into a warehouse late at night.Standing up carefully, removing his feet from the railing, he grabbed onto a rope that hung from a ceiling and just leaned over the ledge that presented itself before him between the floor he was upon and the floor she was upon.
"Lost?" He asked confused, deciding to pull a Mad Hatter moment on her just for kicks. "You can't be lost unless you were found first. And so, you were never lost because I found you now." Sometimes he just loved taking words from other villains, it was hilarious to him and often confused any other villain who may come across the story. Jumping onto the rope, it reached a length from the ceiling to halfway between the ledge the clown stood upon and the floor the newcomer was on. He slid down to the cery end of the rope before finally letting himself drop the rest of the way.
"So, what is your name, I'm guessing you know mine?" He asked, his smile widening.

She was shocked that he had an all of a sudden change of heart. She rubbed her wrists, which were a bit sore from the rope. The ravenette cautiously walked toward where her glasses were knocked off. Picking them up, she noticed that they were broken. Not that she really needed them, it was more of a prop then for actual sight.
Homura looked up toward the entrance of the warehouse, then back at the madman. Still shocked that she was just being let go like that. His concern about her and Madoka also startled her as well. There must be something hes after. It was strange to just be let go so suddenly.
She made her way toward the exit, keeping an eye on him. Now by the exit, she felt safe enough to give a response. “I’m insane enough as is, so unless you manage to capture me again I don’t think that will happen. If we do meet again, I’ll be different then I am now, and who knows if you will be able to live a second encounter with a monster?”
Hearing her words, he chuckled, then replied. "That is true, from what I've seen. Just keep yourself out of Arkham if you are deemed mentally unstable. I wouldn't want our next encounter to be with both of us behind bars." He paused and shook his head. "I've met tons of monsters tons of times, and yet here I am, still standing as lively as ever! I'm sure that whoever you are the next time we meet will be just fine." With this, he laughed as he opened the door that led deeper into the mad house. It looked like darkness that went on for eternity threw that door.
As he vanished into the shadows like a phantom, he uttered one last set of words before shutting the door silently and being gone. "To make both of you happy, think of the other, what would truly be best for her. What will keep your lover healthy and alive... If you follow this formula, and trust my words, happiness will come." He spoke from experience, complete experience. He had to do something similar to Harley, binding her to a chair since she wanted to see Poison Ivy, but Ivy was poisoned and would no doubt harm the harlequin.
Now that all the clowns were absent from the room, it felt oddly empty... Far more empty then it was prior. Hollow even... Almost as though it had emotions of it's own...

— Tch. It wasn’t as if she had wanted to be there. In fact, the Joker’s place of dwelling was the last place she wanted to be. It was too unpredictable. Too distracting. It took away a lot of her comfort, but he had left her with little choice. Unfortunately.
The irritation lacing his question thrown at her brought on nothing but a reflection of agitation—brought on by the curl of her lip in disgust. She scarcely flinched at his hostility. He didn’t frighten her. However, Ivy was wise. She certainly knew what he was capable of. And for that, she respected him; rather than mocking him.
But that certainly didn’t mean she had to like him. “Aha. A pleasure to see you, too. I can see you’re doing well.” She purred; sultry and laced with obvious sarcasm. “As disappointing as it may be—”
The ginger sneered; the contours of a curvacious physique leaning against the doorframe to his home. “I’m not here to see you. I’m here to see dear, Harley. Although…”
Sharp hues, iced with sapphire, milled about the space he inhabited. “I’m surprised to see you alone. Not that it would surprise me if her missing was of your doing.” Ivy knew all too well of the complex, mentally abusive relationship shared between Harleen and the Joker. She supposed it was the downfall of falling for a sociopath. Then again,
Ivy wasn’t much better, now was she?
"Well?" He repeated seeming to ignore the fact that she was using sarcasm, Joker hated sarcasm occasionally enough to where his mind will trick him into believing that a sentence was truth and not hollow. Those words were one of those times. "If you call half frozen and bloody well then I am fabulous." Laughing at his own comment, he was still annoyed, just this didn't stop him from being an insane child-like character.
"I figured you were here to see her..." Standing up from his seat, obviously causing rather strong waves of pain to flood his frame. "I honestly thought she was with you until you showed up... I was just out looking for her moments ago..." The clown didn't even care that he was basically admitting he did have feelings for the other, in which he did obviously.
The bleached flesh of the male was contorted by his tensing up with the great deals of pain that dealt themselves upon him. His chemically altered green locks managed to fall into his face, and his bright red lips continued to smile no more. Unlike him, he was frowning somewhat, which was another painful action he did occasionally.
"I haven't seen her since Christmas when she disappeared out of nowhere." It was always around Christmas time that he was in his best moods around Harley. It was Christmas and her birthday that he'd go the extra mile just to make the girl feel loved by him. But after they passed, it was back to the normal routine...
"And before you start saying that it was because of an argument, you would be wrong. There was no argument this time. She just went out the day after Christmas and vanished."
One time Bruce decided to actually have a sense of humor, so at 6am he went down stairs with Alfred and a video camera, and went to the living room where all the kids were sleeping
and then he used an airhorn to walk them all up and scream ‘WAKE UP. IT’S TIME FOR SCHOOL’
and they all jumped up and Tim actually fell off the couch
and then Dick looks up all grumpy and sleep liked and he’s like, “Wa…ah?”
and Bruce says it’s time to school, you have to get up
and then Dick looks down and thinks really hard for a second before he’s like “It’s winter break…”
and then he thinks really hard again and looks up with the most confused expression ever and says, “And I’m twenty five.”
and then Bruce collapses onto the floor in hysterics and Alfred just holds the camera on him because this is going to be the one time he’s got Bruce laughing like that on video and he’s going to keep it forever
and the kids are still confused because they’re trying to remember if they’re even still in school
(Jason in the background: does anyone remember how old I am?)

He picked up on it. The momentary weakness she showed, he noticed it instantly. And now planned to keep digging from there since he discovered one of her weaknesses. She thought it would be best to keep vaguely answering, to hopefully get past this quickly.
"It’s just how it worked out, we aren’t meant to be together. She’s happier this way. I would only restrict what she would want to do. I’ve hurt her enough as is. And I know the last thing she would want me to do is work with someone like you."
That really was the jist of how it actually was. But key details about it were purposely left out. She spoke too much as is, and now wants to slowly fall into a silence. Outright defiance wouldn’t help her any. She could slowly feign more and more ignorance until he gets bored with the whole thing.
"I see... Well then..." He sighed, seeing that the time was far too late. Batman wouldn't be out at all. And he liked this girl too. Taking out a blade from his jacket he laughed. "I wont pry any further right now, but to be honest, I would love to have worked with you, you seem useful in some way. But since Batman isn't coming, I wont kill you, but let you go." This was a turn of events. He had gotten so bored and fascinated with the character, he probably wanted to speak to her again at some other point in time.
"Homura... You are fascinating... And I hope that we encounter each other at some point in time. Perhaps then you will actually tell the story." Walking to her bindings, he nodded. "Of course, if batsy does come blood is necessary." First, he took her one palm and cut it open, wiping the blood off on his gloves to make it appear like he killed her by a gun or blade. Then, he cut her free of her bindings with the blood stained knife. "You are lucky I'm in a good mood Homura. Now I suggest you get out of here before my good mood wears off."
She was free to go now. Ordering his thugs to leave, the clown turned his back and began heading towards the door that lead deeper into the mad house. Since the thugs left, the exit was unlocked. "By the way, I hope you girls work things out soon. But, if you ever feel like using that emergency exit... I'm always here."

Elsa made it to the door too late and grimaced at the failed attempt of escape. She turned back to the Joker, resisting the urge to respond, she did not trust herself to give a straight answer. Although she couldn’t help but roll her eyes at the witch comment.
"I don’t know if I’d go with witch." She responded while taking another step away, not wanting to be any closer to someone who was clearly homicidal than she had to be.
"I just called you a witch just because there was no nicer term." He snapped seeing her keep her distance. "Why are you afraid, you are able to hurt me with what I've just seen. What are you? And how did you do that? It's interesting really, and I'd love to know more? Do you have some form of weapon, or magic?" Elsa nodded, slowly at the explanation given to her. ”Ah, I see. Fear gas does just what the title suggests, obviously? I can’t exactly say that fear is a very healthy obsession to have, but then, it’s really not my business to judge him.”
She was quiet for a second as she tried to think of a way to reply to what he said next. ”I don’t think that it’s so much the dying part that most of us are afraid of, it’s the how of it. I don’t see the point in being afraid of the inevitable. It’s not going to change anything.”
"Indeed. Well, none of us can judge him... We all, being mad, have our obsessions, I have my jokes, he has his fears, Penguin has his birds, Ivy has her plants, Two-Face has his quarter, and Bane has his venom. It's just what happens when you go insane and then turn to our path. You just have to... follow these obsessions to the end and achieve what you so desperately want to." He explained seeming to be deep in thought, however, he continued smiling.
"Indeed. It isn't. It will never." He paused for a moment, then continued. "Did you know that people show their true colors when they are about to be killed. Some people are cowards, others are fine soldiers, some are arrogant, others irrational! Weird how, when somebody hides something, it comes out in the last second, as though it's been released in a wave of emotion. It is something to wonder about, how your loved ones will react when you threaten to kill them..."
elsasnowqueenofarendelle and the-pleaser-of-crowds heard the laugh
Dimentio stared for a moment, blank faced as he pieced together that name of his. "The Joker, huh?…" He questioned to no one in particular, placing a gloved finger to his chin in thought. Gotham city… Joker, Batman… Ah, yes! The name was now becoming very familiar! He had heard about this man within a few books he owned, whether it be an actual textbook affiliating with notorious villains, or comic books he had lying around his own abode… The harlequin had to look at him back in the eyes, a neutral expression and way of speaking given to the laughing man. "Yesss, yesss… I recognize you now. The notorious villain of Gotham city… I never expected to end up in a dimension filled with super-human beings. But, to answer your question, I am not affiliated with this city, nor this dimension as a whole. I am the Master of Dimensions, pleaser of Crowds… I am, Dimentio. I appreciate your welcoming, though knowing about your entire history, it’s only natural to be weary. Not that I have anything to worry about, after all. You’re killed countless victims in the past, I nearly created universal mass genocide at a given point in my life. Both of us have a little blood on our fingers, so, we’re essentially equals… In a sense."
He nodded to his words, somewhat pleased that he didn't have to explain himself AGAIN to another new comer. "Well then, Dimentio. You do seem rather interesting. I'm happy that you have heard of me, it's good to have your name out there. Even if your a villain, it gives you leverage. Whether it be in fear or just worry." The clown told him, continuing to brush of the words of him being the master of dimensions. He had no clue what he was speaking of, what he meant, but nevertheless... "Blood on your finger hmm?" Joker paused for a moment, standing and grabbing onto a rope that hung from the ceiling. The rope went down to right in the middle of the drop between the floor the clown was on and the floor the harlequin was on.
Sliding down to the end of this rope, it didn't look at all stable, when he reached the end, he calmly let go and let himself fall, where he landed with no damage to himself whatsoever, like he's done this before. "Since you say you have blood on your fingers, tell me about such murders. I love a good story so to speak."
