Just a heads up since I have multiple Aki URLs!   This one - my standalone Aki blog - is going to be archived for the moment.  I’ve reactivated the URL for my Aki sideblog @instructor-aki.   It’s a sideblog to Legend, and I’m just gonna chill on that one while I struggle with this infernally difficult muse.  I love Aki, but he can be a giant pain in the ass - not just for other muses who interact with him, either, but for ME, the mun.  :)

RP has been at a standstill all over lately, mostly bc of RL busy-ness - and some of it’s positive stuff, at least.  Major spring cleaning and landscaping going on at home, and I’m finally doing something about my fitness, so I’m spending less time in front of my laptop during my free time.  I’m lurky and mobile a lot during the day, so I’m mostly doing short meme replies and the like on Legend, along with a few other sideblogs.

Sorry for any confusion for those who follow/interact with Aki; if this muse ever comes back to me full throttle, I’ll consider moving back to my standalone blog.  For now (while he’s being so uncooperative), it’s easier to have him as a sideblog.  And my apologies to anyone who’d started threads with me before I dropped out of sight quite suddenly; I was under a lot of stress and needed to take a step back from things.  Now things are a little bit better, but I’m still wicked busy, but I’m not ready to shelve Aki just yet.

Meant to reblog this here earlier, but I had friends over, so I haven’t gotten online until just now.

Anyway.  Same applies here.  I’m really sad to go and yet at the same time, I feel like leaving the RP thing behind is well overdue.  Thank you all for giving me this ridiculous little NPC a chance.  I really appreciate you all.  <3

As I’m doing with Legend, I’m not archiving this URL right away - there’s a lot of content I want to keep or at least back up, and I may still want to do the occasional aesthetic reblog for Aki stuff.  Eventually, though, what I’ll likely do is work out a tag system on my main blog for specific character aesthetic stuff. Maybe I’ll get to that tomorrow.

Thank you all.  I’ve had a great deal of fun in the year-plus that I’ve been RPing Aki, but it’s time to hang up my hat.  Apologies for any inconvenience, but I am hopeful all will understand that my health and sanity come first.

Since Seifer Almasy, Aki finished in his head, but not out loud.  Really, it would do no good resurrecting and beating that dead horse again.

“What’s wrong, Instructor? Do you have a problem with a student?”, asked Squall, hand on his hip. Looking at the Instructor’s face, something was clearly bothering him.

“It’s nothing I can’t handle, Squall,” Aki replied, somewhat curtly.  He didn’t exactly want to divulge which student was being problematic; public humiliation was not his goal, after all.  

He sighed, smiled a bit ruefully, and nodded at Squall.   “Once in a while...I’ll have a student I simply can’t get through to.  You were once like that, if memory serves me correctly.”

Sorry for my quieter presence around here - I’m still down to do/plot things, we’ve just had a LOT going on IRL that is keeping me distracted and away from Tumblr/online in general.  It’s mainly good stuff, at least!  I’m still out here, lurking, but very tired at the moment.  I’ve been trying to reply to things both here and on my Legend blog, and my eyes are closing..

Tomorrow, we are apparently going to be snowed in like majorly.  So I might be around a fair bit unless we lose power, and let’s hope I’m actually awake more than I am now.
