You should only be nervous if I have x-ray vision. Which I don’t.
Oh. Well good! That might've gotten awkward.
I can tell a lot about someone just by looking. You can call me Locret.
And you can call me Mal. -sighs- People are so perceptive here. Might make a less confident man nervous.
~Mischief, Extraterrestrial~
Mac had to take a couple deep breaths, swallowing down the way it made her feel to be back inside a TARDIS. The movement and noise was all so familiar, like a homecoming, but it also caused a wrench in her heart that she had to quickly stuff back down. Her hand moved pen across page effortlessly, watching the androids out of the corner of her eye.
“Not really. Molonolonia is one I’ve never heard of, but honestly I don’t mind.” Just being up in the stars again…just this is enough. “Any other ground rules I should know about? “And don’t touch that,” she eyed him sternly, her voice harsher than usual, noticing the way he was subtly eying her backpack, slightly open on the floor.
Expertly, with practiced, lazy disinterest, his gaze went back to the console and screens. Really, she was on his ship now. He had the upper hand of familiar ground. And if he really wanted a look, it would be easy to the point of being laughable. Maybe not just yet, though. Maybe never. Depending how bored or curious he got.
"Gambling it is," he said decisively, throwing three slides up to full-top. The androids all responded accordingly, eerily silent but for the soft musical tones they made every so often. Molonolonia laid in, he eyed the screen a moment longer to be sure everything was flying smoothly before stepping back a bit, watching his ship work with obvious pride for a moment.
The bridge's theme worked through the whole of the ship. Modern-styled, sleek white and chrome and black. It was a luxury liner, clean and gorgeous and functioning at perfect parameters. He shrugged, hardly glancing at Mac. "Don't touch anything you're not absolutely positive you understand. Don't wander off unaccompanied by me or an android." He looked over then, smiling patronizingly. "Of course you're allowed to be alone in your room."
~Mischief, Extraterrestrial~
Her eyebrows quirk a little at the robots zooming into place, feeling like she’s just woken up in an Asimov novel. She’s a little impressed, she has to admit, but she doesn’t betray any surprise, just curiosity.
“Wouldn’t you like to know,” she grins at him, making a few extra pointless notes just to irk him a little. Words are her tools and her weapons, knowledge her greatest power. Every new experience, discovery, and location was cataloged, mapped out, written about. After all, she had eternity to become a master of all trades. “And you still haven’t answered my question. Where exactly are we off to?”
"Fine, keep your secrets." He waved a hand, finally turning to the console and twisting a dial lazily, first to one position, then another, tilting his head. "I haven't decided yet. Think I might just set it to random. Unless you had a specific destination in mind. Molonolonia, maybe--fun to say, brilliant casinos. Or Taurine 5. Planet populated by criminals. Kind of like your Australia was in the old days. Well, really it's rather more a gutted moon, but still..."
Without having actually made a decision, he spun the dial carelessly and yanked a lever hard. The old ship took off like a dream with hardly a jolt and the androids immediately compensated for his show-off move, keeping her stable as they soared off into the time stream. They could just fly for a bit without actually pegging a landing point. He glanced back at her. "Preference?"

Hah, I noticed! Well I did reply to the most recent one, I’m just always self-conscious about my writing so yeah. All your FCs are gorgeous, btw. I know some she’d love and some she’d hate XD
ooc: ldksjaflkdgkdjf and here I was waiting patiently and you'd already cranked it out. WHOOOPS -embarrassed-
Heehee It's like having 13 characters in one dude. I am excite.
missmollieimmortal replied to your post: missmollieimmortal replied to your post:...
Yay! :3 I wonder how she’d get on with his other incarnations…certainly could be interesting :p I know and as much as I get frustrated on here and think about deleting Molls I don’t think I ever could, gah. And sorry if my writing is shitty today
ooc: They're all fairly different from one another, that's for sure.
And no worriessssss. I've got to pop off for work in a few hours. If you're not feeling it, we don't have to write it out right now~
(le casually spamming future FCs XD)
missmollieimmortal replied to your post: missmollieimmortal replied to your photo: ooc: I’d...
Do you think you’ll ever play him into other regenerations? I think that could get interesting :p
ooc: Oh I definitely plan to! I just don't really know the timing of it yet. Despite how infrequently I'm on him, I won't ever abandon Mal. He's gonna be a long-running account. :3
ooc: I'd just like to appreciate that this just happened.

Well, hello there.
Hello there. You look an awful lot like a friend of mind…
I have to say I’ve never gotten quite that reaction. Good or bad?
Good obviously. You’re bothing dashing as ever. All though you’re not quite like him in other respects.
And how do you know that? We've only just met. I don't even know your name yet.
~Mischief, Extraterrestrial~
She rolls her eyes, arms crossed, and leans against the railing that circled the console.
“You do know that I know how to drive one of these, right?” She looks at him with slightly raised eyebrows, a small smirk on her face. “I’m not about to break your precious baby, but if you insist…” she raises her arms in surrender and shakes her head a little, circling the console, looking at the differences between the Type 40 she was used to, and this model. “Snazzy,” she grins, watching him watch her like a hawk. She sets down the backpack she’s brought along and pulls out a small notebook and a pen, scribbling distractedly for a moment.
“So, where to, hotshot?”
"Even if you did happen to have enough knowledge to fly a 76, you wouldn't be able to fly this one," he said, confidently, arms still crossed. "B, here, has been modified all to hell and back."
As if on cue, the chief modification appeared, pulling away from the wall with a hiss and a soothing pulsing tone. It was a team of five genderless androids, silent and featureless, but moving smoothly to the console to take up positions where Time Lord pilots would usually stand. Mal didn't turn to acknowledge them, instead watching Mollie's face. "Not quite up to an organic's instinct, but they do have superhuman reaction speed." Then he squinted, tilting his head, eyes focused on the notepad. "Are you actually taking notes?"

Aww, but that’s no fun either! -leans in conspiratorially- Why would you want to pretend to be a boring old human?
-raises eyebrows innocently- Maybe I like being underestimated.
-smirks- Makes it easier to cause trouble, huh?
Not really, no. But if the mood strikes, it does make spectator reactions a hell of a lot more fun.
You, sir, make a good point. But I wasn’t looking for anything in particular. Just getting some air and waiting for trouble to find me, like it usually does.
I’d say it just did, but that would be painfully lame, wouldn’t it?
Only a little. I kind of expected it. Not that I mind.
Ah, but I don’t like to be predictable, so I won’t. Instead I’ll continue to pretend to be a boring everyday average person on the street.

Just a bit. -pouts- Aww. I’d like to see that. -winks-
What is it you do, Ronnie? Well, just keep up the compliments and you’ll see it. I’m decent at cards if you’re looking for something.
Oh, a bit of this. Bit of that. -tilts her head, still grinning- What, a girl can’t compliment a good-looking stranger without wanting something?
Hm, same. But everybody wants something. It’s what makes us alive. And interesting.
