Yesterday (Saturday), in an effort to rest up and finally get over this illness, I watched three movies* and stayed in my pajamas until almost 6. I still washed, folded and put away 2 loads of laundry, did a load of dishes, and cooked half of my lunches for the week, but it was low impact productivity. I do feel better today. Mr and I even stayed in bed all morning to watch Russian Doll on Netflix.
*The Apostle which was way stranger and gorier than expected; Support the Girls which I enjoyed quite a bit as a workplace comedy; and The Tale which was a unique take on storytelling and the content, although cringe-inducing and upsetting at points, had a somewhat satisfying resolution.

Heads up - Tumblr seems to think pics of people in singlets, which powerlifter, weightlifters and wrestlers wear to compete, counts as nudity and violate their new content guidelines.
My brother informed me today that he is filing to get on the ballot for city council. It's not something I'd ever thought of for him and this would be his first foray into anything of the sort. He's an extremely likable, energetic guy, though, so I could see him garnering votes.
