My name's Sam, and this is a collection of warm-up sketches and quick bits and pieces. It seems to have turned into a lot of music portraits. I hope you like that!

Another product of this short printmaking course was this wood engraving. It's a very intricate medium - this piece measures about two inches by two inches. The image is a house opposite the school in Darlinghurst.

I took a short course in printmaking at the National Art School in Darlinghurst recently. This elephant linocut was one of the results.

Some elephants for a collaborative exhibition coming up in Glebe, Sydney - a lot of different artists have been given cards with those winding black lines entering them at the same points, so they can all be displayed together with one line continuing through a number of unrelated artworks. Can't wait to see what everyone else has done!
