We are into our second week of spring break and everyone is celebrating the hints of warmer weather. A comprehensive 10-day wilderness first aid training course provide students with a nationally recognized industry standard that is perfect (and often required) for anyone working in a position of leadership in an outdoor setting. Not only is this great for outdoor guides, but for field work! Both Iris and Zero Hour were featured in ‘Paris to Pittsburg’, a documentary about climate change and environmental justice. The documentary aired on the National Geographic channel two nights ago---go check it out!
We’re back--after a few quiet months--with this time lapse of a beaver chew! In the Wildlife Ecology class (Spring-2018), students completed a research project on the Ecology of COA’s Cox Protectorate. One of the many ways of documented species biodiversity is by planting Game Cameras to see what you find.
