Elizabeth Gillies/Jade West
Where are my Jori shippers for this one. Jade West and Tori Vega? Victorious. The start for Arianna Grande and no one should be surprised because the first time they let her sing I was wondering how they let someone on the show that sings better than the lead.
But in all honesty, Elizabeth Gillies has an amazing voice too, just on a different spectrum that’s very intense and strong. She can envoke such emotion with her voice. The range of it all. She could literally be Amy Lee’s little sister. Who’s she? Just the lead singer of a kickass band called Evanescence. Give them a listen and tell me Elizabeth Gillies wouldn’t dominate in that genre. She was on a show based on Rock and Roll as well so her voice could do it all. She’s perfect for that if she ever wants to pursue it more than acting but honestly, she’s just too damn good of an actress. Not to mention, she’s literally one of the most attractive women I have ever seen. Her look is intense. It’s her eyes and the way she can look at people as if she could get them to bend to her will once she tilted her head a certain way. Those eyes with that smirk. I would do anything she said if that smirk followed it. How many bodies do you need me to dump Liz? I’ll do it. Oh you need someone to take the fall for some absurd criminal charge. Ok. You want me to jump off a bridge for your entertainment? Cool. I’ll get over my fear of falling this way.
Now of course I wouldn’t actually do those things....that easily....but I would give it an actual thought unlike if someone else were to say it.
Elizabeth Gillies is one of those actresses that I’m rooting for until the end. I want her to be more well known but at the same time I enjoy her being smaller right now. It’s like when you start listening to a new artist and you love everything about them. You tell your friends, none of them care, usually one does and they fall for the artist too, but everyone else doesn’t want to listen to them. Then a year or two goes by and the artist is bigger, more well known, your friends like their new stuff and you sit there wanting to say “I liked them before they were cool” but you don’t cause that’s lame apparently. That’s how I feel about Liz.
She deserves so much in life though. She’s too talented to not get bigger. I’m glad she has such a successful and world renown BFF in Arianna Grande and isn’t too close to Victoria Justice despite me shipping them on Nickelodian for years. They had a similar vibe to Marceline the Vampire Queen and Princess Bubble Gum. After a few episodes, and a few key interactions between them, I could sense a connection. One straight fans of either show were oblivious to. (Let us take a moment of silence for how obliviousness so many straight people are of anything pertaining to LGBTQ culture)
Elizabeth Gillies not only awakened the parts of me that wanted to be as commanding and beautiful as she is, but the parts of me that want what I want in life without apologizes stemmed from her as well. She works hard in her roles and she’s confident in all of her abilities. She shows off her sex appeal and her talents because she can and she should because she’s never the type to be so vain that she looks down on everyone. She’s enjoying who she is and navigating life with long strides to the top. No one can knock her for that.
