I honestly don’t get why armys are upset by Waste It On Me. This is a song FEATURING BTS - it is Steve Aoki’s song. If even only ONE member was on the track, Steve could very well say ft. BTS since they are a whole regardless of who actually performs it. The name “BTS” is more recognizable than namkook’s names. The billboard reveal marketing garnered a lot of excitement and hype. You aren’t being ot7-forward thinking if you’re upset that its basically just namkook (and some jimin harmonizing). It doesn’t make you look inclusive of them all by saying you’re upset not all of them are on the track, it just makes you look incapable of praising any of the members from doing anything alone. Once again, this is Steve Aoki’s song. The two best members when it comes to english pronunciation will give BTS such an incredibly bigger market to work with now. They will get a ton more media play since Steve’s name holds a lot of influence in the english-speaking market, people will listen to the song without stigma and will look into BTS after. So when people say they are “disappointed” by the song (due to the lack of other members), they are really solo stans pretending they care about what’s best for BTS under the guise of being ot7-considerate. If you support BTS, you support the things they do regardless if your bias is apart of it or not. “BTS” is what is recognizable by the public, of course they would market this collab as such. This song is a huge win for BTS and has shown the public that they are capable of much more than many originally thought. This song will be a great intro to new fans, before they listen to other BTS songs and see their versatility.

Tldr; support Waste It On Me, a BTS collab, and stop acting fake woke since it “isn’t right how all of ot7 are not in it” when cyphers, vocal line songs and solo songs exist. If you are an army, support BTS in all their projects.
