people in my life from a young age acted like i was a borderline prodigy and i was tested for giftedness (whatever that means) and the person who does the tests said i was "one of the most significant cases shes ever seen", i was honor rolled a few times, teachers let me do my own thing instead of pay attention to the lessons, my reading comprehension was apparently 'college level' at 4th grade, etc. etc.

now i cant even do a simple task without apathy and avolition crushing me to dust lol... i dont think i was ever gifted, i think i was just introspective and knew how to observe patterns.

of course having literally no one for years and years, where else to go but inwards and observe??

apparently having any kind of inner thought is considered significant and special to normal people and i think thats hilarious.
