Easy for her to say since Ivy didn’t seem to care much about people to think about whether or not she was crossing a line or not, but if Danny overstepped his boundaries with her, he’d be feeling like shit considering she was his partner. The use of that nickname made him cringe, especially since it made him feel like a child and honestly, he didn’t want Ivy to think of him as one, especially when her hips were rolling against him like that. “I’ll try my best. Just don’t call me Danny boy again.” He shook his head, welcoming the shift in her position and pressing his fingertips onto her hips as he pulled her even closer. Dan then guided one of her arms to behind his head, letting his hips grind onto hers. Song after song, Daniel just followed her lead, growing closer to her and slowly letting go of their worries. With their bodies this close, it was getting hot, sweat leaving a think layer upon their faces and he felt like he needed a break before he did something stupid. “I need some water… do you want to drink something?”
“But it has a nice ring to it, Danny boy” She replied with a smirk, shrugging and figuring that if he didn’t like it then she just shouldn’t use it. That would be showing her partner some respect, but honestly, she was in such a good mood that she just felt like teasing a little. That wouldn’t hurt anyone, right? She liked dancing like this, with Daniel especifically, because she could admit that she trusted him, and as she thought about that, she realized Daniel fixed all the boxes she was looking for in a hook up, or well, her own definition of a hook up. Turning around when he talked, she shook her head, arms around his neck as she moved forward. “Don’t leave, we don’t need anything but us” She assured him, the smirk back in her lips as she pressed even further and kissed her partner.
