What does pain do to you? The answer says a lot about you. Does it make you weak? Does it make you cower away from anything that might hurt you? Does it give you insight and wisdom? Does it kindle you in empathy for the pain of those you care about? Does it make you vicious and dull, like a dog that’s been kicked so much, it just bites out of habit rather than true malice? No matter what he said or did, prejudice followed. As acting mayor, it gave her no right for her to mandate who he was allowed to befriend. He shook his head, miffed by the whole situation.

                IT HINTS WITHIN his voice that he’s                 sick && tired of being at home all the time — && who’d knew                 being the ADOPTED son of  one of the most infamous fables                 could be like prison. luke is a grown man ; he wants to go out,                 not only for drinks however — but to have FRESH AIR once in                 awhile. of course, it’d be hard for him to fit in, as he isn’t a fable                 to claim. with  BIGBY WOLF as his guardian, it wasn’t always                 easy in the start.

                            ❝Doesn’t hurt to try.❞

With his arms folded across his chest, Bigby stared out the crummy, little window. The city’s distant lights looked terribly alluring, he had to admit. However, he knew about the crime that riddled the streets. Luke wasn’t immortal. He wasn’t a Fable. He was his son, a Mundy.

It didn’t hurt. Bigby Wolf had gotten used to the pain. Still, he brought his calloused fingers to the harsh gash in his cheek just above all the stubble. Despite his protest, he let out a hiss. No huffin’ n’ puffin’ here. Sheepishly, he rubbed the nape of his neck. His shoulders slumped down.
