please make sure that wherever you’re at in life, you don’t treat it like a transitory period. don’t waste your college years wishing to already be graduated & have a job. don’t waste your single years wishing for someone to be in love with. if/when those things come, they will come in due time and they will be good. but there is nothing like looking back and feeling empty because you wasted literal years ignoring what you had because you were hoping for something better. while it’s important to better yourself and reach for your goals, don’t neglect the present because that’s where you are now and it’s your now that determines your future.

like, look at this part-homo sapiens, part-neandertal man from well over 30,000 years ago:

they took care of their old and their sick and their disabled, even when it cost them

they made new things, and worried about what the new things meant for people everywhere, as a whole

This guy was sculpted by Alfons and Adrie Kennis, and their Neanderthal reconstructions are all delightful. 

I love the kid in the last picture a lot- they look like a kid, just a little kid who’s done some mischief and is trying not to laugh about it.

I also adore their Lucy- they’ve struck a wonderful balance between the falling angel and the rising ape.

And their Turkana boy- there’s something precious and wistful in those eyes. 

But my favorite has got to be their reconstruction of H. floresiensis.

Just look at her. That’s a face of someone who’s lived and seen a lot, but also a face that’s known love and joy and laughter. That’s a face with a soul.

Hi do you know of any Asian people (Chinese specifically) that have gone on t and have documented their transition experience? So far I’ve only managed to find 1 Chinese guy on YouTube who’s talked about his experiences on t but I’d like some more info to see if going on t is right for me

Yes! These are some people I’ve come across online. I find it helpful to see other asian people transitioning on T because I know that my transition will probably be pretty different than those of other people, but may be more similar to other asian people. I tried to specify the ones who I know aren’t Chinese specifically, but I don’t know all of their races/ethnicities! A lot of these people are no longer active on youtube anymore, so apologies for that, but some of them do have transition timeline videos / instagrams / other social media!

This is by no means a comprehensive list either, there are more people putting content out there, this is just some of what I’ve seen.
