The nagging sound of your alarm was going off in your ear, interrupting the good sleep you were having. You took the day off and must’ve forgotten to turn the dang thing off. It was your birthday. Finn said he had a big day planned for you, but he didn’t tell you what any of those plans were. 

“Good morning my ray of sunshine!! Guess what today is!” Finn yelled as he ran and jumped on the bed. 

“Tuesday?” You giggled.

“No, Tanushree! It’s your birthday!!” He said, jumping on you next. 

“Oh, Finn. Stop! Stop!” You laughed as he tickled you. Tears were forming as you laughed so hard it sounded as only air. He pecked a kiss on your forehead, and got off. 

“We have a big day today, let’s go!” He said, running through the house. You rolled eyes and laughed to yourself, questioning how you put up with this on a daily. You smiled as you shook your head. You put your feet on the ground and headed to the bathroom.

“Finn, where are we going? You know I can’t stand not seeing the road!” You said, the only thing you were able to see was the blindfold tied around your head. 

“You will know when we get there, Tanushree. I promise you will love it. Just relax.” He replied, placing his hand on your thigh. 

Suddenly, you felt the car come to a stop. You were so grateful. You went to untie the blindfold when he stopped you. 

“Uh uh uh, not yet!” He whispered in your ear as he placed one hand on your shoulder. “When we get there, I will take it off. We have to walk just a little ways, first.” He pushed you just a little, signaling you to walk.

“I hear water, please don’t push me in water! I have my good makeup on today, please Finn.” He laughed, “T, I’m not going to, calm down.” 

Finally, Finn held you back for you to stop. “Okay, are you ready, babe?” He asked. 

“I’ve been ready since you put the dang thing on, Finn!” You both laughed.He pulled the tie and the blindfold fell to the ground. 

It was a romantic picnic at the park where you first met. He had a blanket, candles, and a basket set out, along with rose petals and pillows. 

“Finn, oh my gosh, this is, this is beautiful!” You whispered as a tear formed. It was so thoughtful. You turned around to see Finn videoing. 

“Finn! What are you doing?” You asked as you playfully pushed him. 

“Happy Birthday, baby!! I knew you would like it, and so did my subscribers. Say hi!” He laughed, turning it around to face him. “You guys were so right.” He winked, and turned it back to you. You waved as you blushed. 

Finn shut off the camera, and you both enjoyed your birthday evening/night.

The next evening

Finn had uploaded the video of you the next day, of course, after you had watched it. You both laughed as you complained down the road in the car, and the funny things that you guessed it would be. 

Jack had invited you and Finn over for a little birthday get together for you. You both had showed up earlier than expected, but entered the house anyway. As you were searching for Jack, you found him in his room watching Finn’s video. You heard him talking and realized he was on the phone with someone. 

“Yeah man, did you see it? Makes me so jealous, wish I could’ve gotten Tanushree before him. She’s lovely.” You blushed, as you were flattered, but you loved Finn. You found him downstairs, and you decided to join him. You gave him a peck on the lips, “I love you.” You said, and he returned the sentence.

You and Jack had been together for well over 4 years. He asked you to move in 2 years into your relationship, and you became closer than you ever thought you could. One day, you found yourself gazing at jewelry, and came upon engagement rings. You began thinking about if Jack would ever ask. Did he want to get married? Did he think of marrying you? You guys had never really talked about it seriously, just joked around about how life would be if you were a married couple.

   “Hey Keiana, whatcha looking at?” Jack asked as he walked to where you were standing in Kay. 

  “Oh, nothing. Just happened to walk by the rings and got distracted.” You said, grinning. 

  “Oooo, that one’s pretty!” He said, pointing at one of the most expensive ones. You giggled.

  “I would hope so, it’s a Vera Wang for $13,000!” 

  “Oh my, yeah, I’d have to take out a bank loan for that sucker.” Jack said with his eyebrows raised and his eyes big. You laughed and stuck your hand out for him to grab. He intertwined your fingers with his as you both kept looking. 

  Your eyes came upon one that you just couldn’t quit looking at. Princess cut, 14K White gold for $1,499. It was so perfect to you, but you didn’t want to act as if you were begging. 

  “That one’s pretty.” You subtly said, pointing through the glass box. 

  And pretty affordable... He thought. 

  You made your way around the store before exiting. You couldn’t stop thinking about the ring, then a proposal, then a wedding. You pretty much had it all planned out on the car ride home.

Two days later

  “Rise and shine, gorgeous.” Jack said as he carried in a tray with breakfast. “I made you breakfast in bed. Figured you should get some special treatment this morning.” He smiled and placed the tray on the bed.

  “You even made chocolate chip muffins?!” You said,  super excited since they were your favorite.

  “I know they’re one of your favorites, so yes, I attempted at chocolate chip muffins. Probably not as good as your mother’s, but I think they’ll be a close second.” He smiled a big smile with a thumbs up. 

  You took a bite out of the muffin and bit into something hard. You took a look at your muffin, and there it was... The ring you couldn’t stop thinking about. This has to be a dream, it is right? 

  “Keiana, you are my very best friend, and I am so in love with you. There is never a day that I don’t fall more in love with you. I have thought about marriage for a long time, and anytime I think about it, YOU are the woman I imagine marrying. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?” Jack smiled as he took your hand and got down on one knee beside the bed. 

  “You would pick when I first wake up to do this,” You laughed, “Absolutely, of course!!” He stood up to kiss you, and the muffins were long forgotten.

I feel like I'm always apologizing for never writing, though I am sorry. I just finished my junior year last month and I've been on 3 vacations since. I have a little break before my next one, so hopefully I'll get to some of them soon. I appreciate the requests!!!!

Your P.O.V.

I was wakened by a sharp pain in my stomach. I looked at the clock, 3:43 am. I didn’t feel anything after that so I closed my eyes and tried to go back to sleep. Another sharp, agonizing pain. I rose up and placed my hand on my stomach. “Finn,” I said. Nothing. “Finn.” I repeated. Nothing. “Finn!” I yelled, shaking his body. “What? What’s wrong, baby?” He asked with concern as he sat up next to me. “I think I’m having contractions and they’re happening pretty closely togeth-”I was stopped in the middle of my word with another contraction. “Shh, you’re okay, you’re okay. Let me grab the things and we’ll go.” Finn said as he began to get frantic. I put the house shoes on and walked to the chair that awaits at the front door. “Okay, I think I have everything. Are you ready to become parents and enter the never ending world of parenthood?!” He beamed. I smiled as best as I could and walked out the door that he was holding for me.

“Okay Lindsay, squeeze my hand, squeeze my hand. Breathe, breathe.” Finn walked me through my contractions, or at least tried. I tried to breathe throughout the contraction, but it never failed that I ended up having some type of muffled scream. The pain was excruciating and I shamefully admit I questioned if it was worth it. Of course it’s worth it. 

“Okay, Mrs. Harries, looks like you’re ready to push!” The doctor said as she smiled. I gave my first push, rest, second push, Finn wipes my sweat, rest, third push, rest, etc. After about ten pushes or so, Finn and I had our first baby girl. 

“Mrs. and Mr. Harries, what have you decided that her name will be?” The nurse asked. 

“Emmi Rose Harries.” I pronounced proudly. I smiled as I looked down at my newborn baby girl. “Can I hold her now?” Finn asked, and I gladly obliged. I watched as Finn just stared at her face and kept her small hand in his. “We made one beautiful girl, huh?” He asked as he smiled at Emmi and then looked up at me. “Yes, yes we did.” I giggled as I placed my head down for some rest.

I am so sorry. I hardly ever use tumblr anymore and I have just seen a lot of everyone’s imagine requests. I will try to get to as many as I can since I have Christmas break coming up. "Okay babe, I'm off to my YouTube meeting. It shouldn't take long, so when I come back we can go straight to dinner if you would like?" He said as he grabbed the car keys and latched his watch. "Yeah sure! Sounds fine. Be careful, okay? I love you!" I said, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. He gave me a kiss on the lips and rushed out the door. I thought his rushing was a bit strange but I assumed he was just late. I grabbed a bag of chips off the counter and went to sit on the couch and wait for Finn. ------------------------"Finn, where are you? You told me you were gonna be home hours ago. I'm starving." I left yet another message on his cell phone. All I was getting was voicemail. He had not picked up the phone once. I threw my phone down on the couch and got up to distract myself from my frustration. I knew dwelling on it would only make it worse, but I was worried! I grabbed a cold bottle of water out of the fridge and took a sip before my phone began vibrating across the room. I scurried to answer it before it sent him to voicemail. "Hey! I'm on my way home. The guys from YouTube wanted to go out for dinner and I left my phone in the car." "Finn, WE were supposed to go out to dinner together. I'm disappointed in you." "Baby, I'm sorry! I totally forgot. I promise I'll make it up to you tomorrow. Okay?" "I don't know. Just get home." I said and hung up the phone. I wasn't going to let him get by with it so easily. He stood me up and my feelings are hurt. I went to put my pajamas on and I curled up in bed. I wasn't going to sit up and wait for him to come home. ------------------------*next morning*"Good morning, sunshine." Finn yelled as he brought a breakfast in bed to me. He helped me sit up and placed it on my lap. "What do you want to do today? Go to the park? Road trip? Swimming? It's supposed to be nice today. You tell me." He rambled as he was seated criss-cross at the foot of the bed. "I'm not sure. Let me eat first." I said and dug in. The food tasted pretty good and I began to wonder why he was being so nice. He's never made me breakfast in bed, but he's also never stood me up. "Let's go swimming today. I heard there's this awesome new water slide at the pool and I kind of want to try it out." I said after my breakfast and he agreed. "Well what are you waiting for? Get your stuff together!" He said excitedly. As I was tying the top of my bathing suit Finn's phone rang. "Really? Now? Okay that's cool. I can be there soon." And he hung up. "Who was that?""Umm. Jack. He said he needs help moving a tv into his room. I'm gonna swing by there for a second and then I'll come back." Finn said as he exited the bedroom. "Well, why don't I just come with you? It's easier than having to come back and get me." I told him, but he shook his head. "It's fine. We've got all day. I'll be back soon." I just gave him a small smile. Yeah, he said that last time.-----------------------As I was playing my Kim Kardashian game, Finn's name came up on my phone. I pressed answer and said hello. I heard muffled moans and suddenly a girl scream Finn's name as he grunted. He... He's cheating on me. I dropped the phone and bursted into tears. I couldn't believe it. After being together for 3 years, he was cheating on me. Who knows how long this has been going on. He never went to a YouTube meeting or to help Jack, he was going to have sex with another girl. I ran back in the living room to grab my phone. The phone had been hung up. I went into the bedroom to pack my stuff. I grabbed my suitcase I had gotten for our trip to Hawaii and began packing my things. I was leaving. What we had was over. I was done. --------------------Finn came flying through the door, but stopped when he saw my tear stricken face and my suitcase at my face. "Parker, baby, please. Please don't leave me. It's not what you think." "Is it not what I think? Because I think you were having sex with another girl and butt dialed me. If that's not what it is, then what is it? Hmm?" I waited for a response but when I got none I nodded. "I knew I was right. I can't believe you would do this to me. And to think I thought you loved me." I rolled my eyes and let out a little laugh. "I do love you!" He yelled. "If you loved me, you would NOT have even THOUGHT about cheating, let alone actually DID IT!" I exclaimed. I had never yelled at him until now. He had never really hurt me until now. "I'm going to stay with my parents. I'll get the rest of my things sometime." I said as I pulled the handle on the suitcase. "Please don't leave me. Please... You're my world. Without you I'm nothing. I'll never see her again, I promise." "You shouldn't even have to say the world again. You shouldn't have to be begging me to stay with you right now. I love you. I know I do. I'll never stop. But this is crossing the line. I can't do this. I can't lay next to you in bed and know you have been with her. I can't have sex with you wondering if you're imaging her. I can't let you tell me you love me and not wonder if you have told her the same thing. I can't do it. So I am leaving you. Goodbye Finn." I took a deep breath and focused on not crying until I at least got outside. I got into my car and took one last deep breath. I put it in gear and drove away. I looked in the rearview mirror to take one last look at the house I spent 2 years at, but I never stopped. ------------------------*1 year later*I had been struggling very hard still with my break up from Finn. I still love him, even though he hurt me. I don't know a day that I will ever stop. Although I do wish I was ready to move on. I have met plenty of people that have potential, but none of them are Finn. Today I decided to go shopping. I had a nice paying job and I figured it was time to treat myself to something I like to do. As I was looking through the racks and on the wall in PacSun, I ran into someone. "Oh, I am so sorry!" I said as I turned around. My eyes got big and I realized I had bumped right into Finn. Of all places he is here. In front of me. "Parker, hi. How are you?" He asked."Doing great. How are you?" I asked, didn't really care but it was polite. "I'm hanging in there. It might be too soon, but would you like to grab a bite to eat?" He asked as he pointed upstairs at the food court. "Umm, I don't know." I was pretty hungry, but I don't know if it was a good idea."Okay, it's fine. I understand. See you around." Finn brushed off my hesitation and waved bye. "Wait! Yeah, sure.
