Years ago I the spent a whole winter studying cedar pollen. Sounds a bit wired, but in a convoluted way it all related back to conservation and forest fragmentation. At the time I was on the look out for cedars any where I went, collecting a sample here or there. These days I still can't help but notice them anywhere I go. #conservation #botany #fieldwork
