Just a bit busy at home. I haven’t been swallowed by my toilet or anything, I promise!

Well I guess I’m one of those morons then.

I guess you are. Dude, if you want to live more healthy and you enjoy drinking juice, there’s nothing wrong with cutting out junk food from your diet and having a glass of fruit/vegetable juice now and then, but this cleanse thing just seems so radical. If you get a balanced diet with everything you need (which includes protein and carbs and healthy fats and also fiber) you’ll also have energy to work out. Which you won’t really have if you only drink juice for a couple of days.

Because I want one? It’s not just fruit juice, it’s vegetable juice, too. And until someone dies from a juice cleanse or whatever, I’ll just continue to do it. It helps most people, and it’s helped me in the past so obviously it’s doing something.

Vegetables don’t have much protein either. And of course no one will die from a three-day juice “cleanse”. You don’t die by eating nothing for three days either. But it’s still proven to not be effective. Personally, I think it’s just money. Companies make lots of money selling those juice diets to morons who believe it will work and buy juice for 60 dollars a day. And of course, the fact that celebrities are doing it too helps people to look super trendy when they instagram their “cleanse”.

But if I gave into the urge, I’d be defeating my entire purpose of my little cleansing juice thing.

Why would you need a juice cleanse? You have a liver and kidney. Also just drinking fruit juice is really not good for your healthy. They’ll leave you hungry, you probably won’t get enough protein and calories and therefore your body might go into starvation mode. And there’s no evidence that any sort of “cleanse” is happening.

The need for a bacon cheeseburger is so strong right now.

I’d say alway give in to the urge.

As wrong as i sounds, its quite fun watching students zombie about during finals week. Then again I just did see one of my students walk into a door, guess I should be a bit more concerned. After I stop myself from laughing at least.
