But.” Jay entwined his fingers with hers for a minute, looking at their hands before smiling at her. “I’d much rather have us both enjoy our time together. So, I’ll have a not bad idea eventually.” Or he’d ask Mal. She knew how to date at this point.

“i feel like you gave that idea on purpose, so it wasn’t a genuine bad idea.” she chuckled. “and i could think of bad idea.”
“Nope, just a terrible idea. I threw my dad in their too, and man that would be awful.” Jay laughed a bit before quirking a brow. “What ideas have you got?”

“well if you do anything with my parents you will never be getting a second date since i will be locked up in a tower in our castle super fast. my parents don’t like vks or villains, like, at all. i mean, you’ve met my brother.”
“See? Told you, full of bad ideas.”

“really? what terrible idea would that be?” she asked him.
“Oh, I could likely come up with oceans of bad ideas. Letting me cook a meal, take a juggling class, double date with your parents, or better yet, our parents. Something you truly hate doing. There’s more I’m sure.”

“Oh! Sure, yeah, just let me know where and when and I’ll be there. I’ve missed ya.”

Gil realized there was something he had to do. He got up and rushed up to where he had to go and bumped into someone “excuse me are you okay” he asked them
“Yeah, dude I’m fine I..” Jay’s eyes widened as he saw who it was, grinning happily at the other. “Gil! Where did you come from?!”
“is it come for people to yell at vks to go back to the isle? i mean i never fight or do anything bad.” she said.

“well i think the way they tease you is a different way then i do.” the blonde princess smiled. “well i guess we are both a little daft since neither of us knew the other liked us.”
“Probably.” Jay chuckled before smirking at her. “We just hadn’t talked about it yet. But, with this knowledge...would you like to go on a date with me sometime?”

“i won’t.” she said. “well, i mean, yeah. why do you think i tease you so much? haven’t you heard when a girl likes someone they tend to tease them?”
“Mal and Evie tease me, but they’re not into me.” Jay smiled a bit before looking up at her. “You’ve likely already figured out I’m a bit daft, so this can’t be too surprising that I had no idea.”

“and once more vks and villains start realizing that then i will be everywhere to defend vks. but i don’t want to lead to the end of auradon if i support people who later try to overthrow auradon.” she explained to him. “i mean if i was totally against vks do you think that i would like you too.”
“Eh, I’ll give you that. Just...don’t give up on them.” Jay smiled a bit before quirking a brow up at her. “You like me too?”
