No longer as innocent.

For hours he stayed within the dark bathroom of his apartment, legs sprawled out staring at his hands. They were clean, but he felt every drop of the crimson that once resided on it, his hands felt like static. Tears stained his face, he couldn’t believe it. He did something he was told never to do..But he wanted to fit in.

The urge to fit in with everyone....He wasn’t like them, his conversations with them proved that much.

Closing his eyes as another show of tears ran down his cheeks, bringing his knees to his chest, wrapping his arms around them, and quietly sobbing into them.

‘Careful Jay..Don’t wake up Mae-bird.’

That thought blared inside his head, finally letting out a shaky breath, he was here now. A seat at this table that he couldn’t get up from, to forever gorge himself on the actions and words of others. He couldn’t leave now, he had to much invested in this new future of his..And his sister..Oh Mae-bird..She was in this pit of torment, but ignorant to it all.

He just wanted to fit in.

June 7th

Dear Ma and Pa,

                          I couldn’t wait to write this letter! So much has happened, good and bad! Lady Sunweaver has been a great help to us, she said she was sending help up to the farm, I owe her so much. You remember that Ren’dorei I said I liked? Well... She met another man and hit of with him. I mean yeah I’m sad about it, but she’ll be a good friend. She told me if her old friend didn’t met up with her, she would of fallen for me. Which honestly sucks but, I told Pa I’d keep smiling for you both. Mae bird has been acting up too, she met this guy who is thirty and she’s not even nineteen! They were holding and she let him kiss her nose! She got mad at me for crashing it. We made up though, promise. I just worry about her you know? She’s the littlest and the brightest out of all of us, I gotta protect her. I hope you both are doing ok. Love you both.

Dear Ma and Pa,

      How are you both doing? I hope the farm helpers are getting everything in order for you both! Pooh and I are doing just fine, this wonderful person named Lady Sunweaver helped us abunch! She gave Mae, Robin, and I a place to live inside the city, can you believe that? It even has running water! I nearly jumped out of my britches when I seen it. You remember when I told you guys about that coyote that bit my wrist and broke it? This druid lady healed it for me for that job I was telling you about, the one at Hudson Shipping! Good news! I got it! Next letter I send I’ll be sending you guys more Gold. Mae is loving it too, she got a job in Hudson! Can you believe it? Robin is still training to be in the Stormwind military so I don’t see her much because of basics in Westfall, but I get to gab to her every now and then, she can almost beat me in arm wrestling! Better watch yourself Pa. Love and miss you both!
