A full moon rises tomorrow! I was testing some new paints, paint brush and paper with this doodle and it kept going. I love drawing fauns and unicorn ladies. Something about it is so much fun to me. I have also never used a squirrel hair paint brush before!
The paint brush is nice. It holds a TON of water which is good for saturating the paper but then I needed a sponge to blot the brush, which I didn’t have, let’s just say a paper towel didn’t work too well so I did a lot of drier painting once I got the base layers down. It also stays nice and fine so it’s great for detailing brush strokes!
I was given these things from my dear friend, Simone Williams, she sent me several care packages of goodies and samples and supplies. I will confess I sat there and cried from joy and overwhelming graditude from these gifts. I am so thankful for having friends like Simone who are amazing and kind. I have to gather some goodies up for her as well—this is how it all starts, we give back and forth and the sharing never ends. Share the joy art brings you!!!! <3
