Unpredictable || Kibum & Jinki
Annoyance. The only thing Kibum was able to feel at the moment as he kept glancing his phone’s clock over and over again, just to find a reason to get even more pissed off or to walk away completely. Either he was just been stood up or somebody needed to take his university student brain and put some screws and nuts back on their places. Because Kibum wasn’t a guy that you left hanging or you didn’t meet at the right time. He wasn’t a guy that let anybody to treat him wrongly, no matter that he was a dirty whore with dad issues and a death wish. And Kibum was going to make sure that if Jinki never showed up there wasn’t going to be a second chance and if he came late, he was going to hear about it all night. Kibum was slowly starting to regret his decision of ditching his day off and all the me-time he could be experiencing at the moment if he didn’t have a soft spot for goofy idiots. Stupid. Stupid, stupid, stupid man he was with a desire to please all the men in his life with his mouth, verbally or physically. But no matter how stupid he had been to agree to do this, Jinki was still late and he was the one to blame.
Waiting was never Kibum’s strongest sides, not when he had went through all the trouble of doing his hair, picking up an outfit and getting slightly drunk for the occasion. Drinking made him restless, but on the other hand, not-drinking made him suicidal, so it was better to be restless, to be glancing that clock every five seconds instead of wanting to jump in front of every car that was passing him by. Also the happy and bubbly university students that kept walking by him to the other side of the school’s walls made Kibum regret that he didn’t bring the leftover vodka with him to the hotspot for naive idiots. They should have agreed to meet in a bar so at least he could have been drinking. Now it wasn’t an option, and the only reason he was still standing there when the clock was showing ten minutes of wasted time was the fact that he was curious if Jinki was going to tell him that he was a bitch or on the mood of wanting to buy him flowers after falling down on his feet by accident.
When the clock turned one minute forward, Kibum sighed heavily, lifting his hand to run through his hair and reached to his blazer’s pocket to find his cigarettes and the lighter. He had smoked just two minutes ago but it wasn’t enough for him, so he lifted one rollie on his lips and lit it, breathing in a lungful of that toxic smoke and let his head drop back from the euphoric feeling that the nicotine was allowing him to feel. He’d wait another ten minutes, it was the line, and after that he was never going to agree to go on an experimental date with a guy that likely had two personas and didn’t own a limo. Guys like that seemed to be completely waste of time and effort, and Kibum wasn’t looking for a golden boys to spend the rest of his apparently short life with. He enjoyed mean, rich men with no desires to get attached. The more and more Kibum thought about this in his head, the worse the idea seemed to look. And Jinki was still late. And he was looking perfect. He was looking perfect for Jinki and the bastard had stood him up.
The light fabric of his shirt pressed against his toned stomach, flattened by his rush and the slight breeze whirling through Seouls summer night streets while Jinki rushed up and down twining roads, mapping out the fastest route to Hongdae in his head. This was one of the many times Jinki praised his sense of orientation. Been there once: saved forever. He didn't know if he was naturally gifted with it or if it was just another part of the training he ran back in Russia, another skill that fully absorbed into him and his person. Jinki. Onew. No difference. Yes, there was one and no, there was none. He couldn't have picked them apart, not if he wanted to. Only two blocks. Left, straight, cross the street, right and left again. Left. Don't check your watch, hurry instead, hurry, you're late and that's all you have to know. Straight. Only one street to go. Key. Almost there. Right and-
There he was. There he was, scowling at everyone and everything that passed, cigarette between his slim fingers, probably not the first one, his hair slightly mussed but still sleek, his clothes wandering a fine line between causual chic and mind-blowing sexy. Wow. He came. And he waited. He was pissed, obviously pretty damn pissed by the looks, but he was there and he waited and all those things came together at once and washed over Jinki and they made him smile, a big, bright, toothy, honest smile with crinkling eyey crescending into slim moons, and they made him a bit giddy and sped up his pulse and like that, all smiles and nervous hands he rushed the last meters, walking up to his date. Brushing keys arms softly with his fingers to get his atention his eyes flicked to the floor for mere seconds in a gesture of apology. "Sorry." Simple as that. Honest as that. There was no use in explaining, he was here and Key was still here and they met and that was what counted, the reason for his delay was just an unrelevant detail, not worthy the air to speak about it. Key was important. Not that great tosser of a taxi driver.
Key. He looked wonderful. Even more perfect than when they first met. The sharp bow of his uper lip working so well with his high cheek bones, seeming sculpted when not in motion, hiding perfect, prealy white teeth that only showed when he laughed. Jinki definitely remembered why he wanted to see this man again, there was no doubt. No doubt with the way his trousers clinged to those toned legs, how his hair framed that pale face just perfectly, how those lips puckered around the filter of his cigarette. As if Jinki had needed any reminder of the why. He didn't. No, he didn't. This was just what felt right to him and that should be the number one reason for every decision that is ought to make. Key felt right. For him.
Intruder || Jinki & Jonghyun
He hated himself very, very much. Jonghyun couldn’t help it when his eyes drifted towards the man’s exposed neck. His dominance was quickly taking effect on him and it wasn’t very hard seeing as the man wasn’t very dominant himself. That was why his sudden acts of submission worked very well on the young wolf. However, Jonghyun was still a bit uncomfortable seeing as his territory was trespassed but the action calmed him down enough.
Leaning forward slowly, Jonghyun placed one hand on the man’s neck as he caressed it softly before leaning forward a bit more and taking in his scent. It smelled good. The man’s scent was strong but pure in an odd sense. It intrigued Jonghyun’s curiosity.
As the man proceeded to explain, the young wolf lingered on him a little more until the man had finally silenced himself. Leaning back but still hovering over the man, Jonghyun felt how his wild side retreated inside himself. With his free hand he continued tracing and caressing the skin of the man’s neck as he held him in place with the other one.
‘So, the man is an assassin for hire. Just like me,’ a small grin appeared on his lips as the though of how funny the coincidence was. Also, now he understood the scent the man had. His strong scent was probably from the harsh experiences he has have. And, the kind of pure scent must have been because of something childish in him, like he hasn’t completely grown up or something. ‘It could be the reflection of his clumsiness,’ he though in humor.
"I have no interest in the details of your assignment nor do I recent you from trying to get your job done. However, you still did broke in into my property, soaked the place up, and broke and killed one of my favorite plant. That I won’t forgive. I demand compensation immediately," he spoke in a soft voice as he continued to hover over the man, his hand still on the man’s skin.
Onew shivered slightly, of fright or the others hands ghosting over his sensitive neck, it was not to tell but he shivered and went on, pouring out the truth, bare himself and the disgusting profession he had been drgged into. He could feel the other hovering very clearly when he shiftet und his weight, and he could definitely see the dip of the otheres head when he smelled him again, but this time he seemed more... pleased. The edge was out, he was still being pinned to the hard floor but the raw rage had left the others features. Onew only mumbled his last words, observing the way the other seemed ever so slightly pleased, his hands still running up and down his neck.
"... recent you from trying to get your job done." recent you from trying to get your job done. He hadn't juped off of him, hadn't yelled, hadn't spit down on him. he must be one of the buisness. That would make sense, no fussing over all day things. he must be. Why point out something usual. Onews mind raced, who was he working for, what could it be that he was doing. Was he someone important? It would mean a lot of troube for him, tripping over some under-boss of all people. Oh, oh there it came... i demand compensation immediately.
Though he had spoken those words in a soft voice, a luring voice if he hadn't known any better, they still made Onew freeze for some seconds, eyes dialting. His eares rushed with renewed adrenalin pumping through his system, skin prickling overly sensitive. His nostrils flared and he tilted his head further back, this time almost on purpose with the odd sensation of his predator touching him, the subtle strokes throwing goosebumps. They spread down his arms and made his neck tingle, almost let himself arch upwards for... yeah, what for. What would the man want? What would he expect to be an adequate mediaion for the intrusion?
Unpredictable || Kibum & Jinki
Kibum took a sip from his whiskey like it was juice, listening the sounds from the other end of the line. He snorted when he heard a clear tripping noise, almost choking on the liquid in his mouth but managed to swallow it before the coughs came, lowering the phone on the counter to avoid Jinki to hear his laughter mixed with coughs. After he managed to calm down a bit and lifted the phone on his ear just in time to hear the last sentence. Kibum hummed in agreement, unable to hide the clear amusement on his voice and spoke before hanging up; “See you.” He threw the phone on is bed and stood there with the whiskey glass on his hand, not sure what to do next.
With one go, Kibum finished the whiskey and placed the glass back on the counter, walking back to his bathroom to do his hair. He played the conversation in his mind, trying to remember all the things they said and what he had promised, trying to tell himself to be hundred percent professional, but there was something in this guy, something different. How he seemed to be a little clumsy and unable to make his mind, just like he had two personalities, just like he had thought before. Now he seemed to be the innocent version of Jinki, the one who didn’t think that Kibum was a dirty whore, which he was, but still. It was important that Jinki didn’t think that way. Otherwise it would have been challenging to have a pleasant evening if the issue was on the table all times.
But Kibum was happy nonetheless, even that his free evening had been ruined and he wouldn’t even get paid for it because of his big mouth. He just liked the evenings that had a good chance to not end in a bedroom or a VIP bar lounge with no clothes on. They gave him some kind of worth and chance to like himself even a little, even that there was no reasons for that. Still, Kibum was happy to do his hair, happy to get into those jeans and happy to call a cab to get to the university to meet this strange little man and to find out what was his deal, if there was one.
Jinki thrummed his fingers unforgivingly on the cheap plastic his cab was equipped with, glaring at the driver. In no time this man had made his mood drop to an unmesureable extent by pulling up the wrong street at the wrong time. Now they were trapped in the all-eveningly commuter traffic jam and he had mere minutes to get to hongdae univ. at time. It was a legit miracle that his gaze hadn't already burned holes in the back of the mans head and wow, he had to restrain himself from chocking him to death. He would never be on time when he did that.
Some random K-Pop song was on the radio, low volume, practically muted, he couldn't even make out the lyrics. Jinki had never liked K-Pop, it was senseless and shallow, the songs, the lyrics, the shows, the whole buisness. It was fake and it rubbed him just the wrong way that he not only had to endure being stuck on half way but also being foreced to listen to some cheaply produced pop song performed by superficial pretty faces. What did Key think of k-pop? He didn't seem to be the type for being a fan, not of anyone else but himself. What kind of music did he enjoy? Maybe he'd dated idols at some point. Or was dating. If what he did could be considered dating. Maybe he was some kind of idol himself, maybe old ladies slagged him off at the local coiffeur or the super market or some soup kitchen. Maybe. Who knew. He definitely had the looks. Some car honked a few times and Jinki grit his teeth.
How was one even capable of being this dull, he had no idea, this man had definitely not picked the brush at doljanchi, no, he hadn't even reached anywhere near it back then, probably there wasn't even one displayed in first place. The taxi inched forward every once in a while and Jinki fumed in the back, tapping his heels and shifting uncomfortably until he just couldn't stand it any moment longer. Forcefully grabbing some thousand Won bills from his wallet he nearly tossed them in the front seat, opening the door, only muttering a short thank you and good bye before he slammed it shut, pacing along the sidewalk up a hill. He was still a good walk away from his destination but at least he now wasn't any longer trapped in that grudged taxi. Only two minutes left. i'm so fucked. He fell into a steady jog.
Please let me lick your neck and jaw
Intruder || Jinki & Jonghyun
A heavy tired sigh passed through Jonghyun’s lips, he really didn’t needed this. He said nothing when the man spoke and tried to back up his obvious lie. Did he really didn’t understand his situation? That was such a ridiculous lie that Jonghyun was tempted to tie the man up and hang him in the middle of the living room so he could use him as a punching bad. Or maybe he would take him under his wing and teach him to come up with believable lies because he was feeling embarrassment just from hearing him.
His sensitive hearing and smell gave him out. His hearing could let him know the way the man’s breath was elaborated in an attempt to sound honest and the way his heart beat. It sang the song of those who lied. And his smell, well let’s just say that there wasn’t only fear in the man’s scent anymore.
Jonghyun snapped his jaw at the man so called Onew, not even bothering to look at the bag, and bared his fangs at him. “I will not repeat myself. The truth," he spoke through his teeth, his patience wearing really thin. “And if you lie one more time, I will grant you the honor of spending the night in my spare room. My special room," he said, his eyes glowing brightly now.
Onew's head dropped back on the floor, hard, really hard at the spitten words of the creature and it stung all the way down his back but he wouldn't wince the tiniest bit of a second with those ready-to-snap-any-moment fangs still hovering inches from his throat. His mouth went dry and thick while sweat beads dampened the collar of his shirt in his neck. Subconciously he tilted his head backwards just a bit, just enough to arch his neck in the slightest way, to gulp visibly while displaying himself as vulnerable, beaten. If he'd be a dog, he thought, his tail'd be tucked crunchingly against himself by now. It was no good. He couldn't keep lying. He knew, somehow. Somehow he knew and no, no he couldn't keep lying. Not if he favored life.
His breath was strangled when he opend his mouth, eyes flicking back and forth as mere seconds passed, mere seconds that surely felt like minutes. "Okay...okay. I... I was about to check the view I'd have from", he closed his eyes for a short shudder "...from here. Into the building across the street. The flat on the very right, twenty second floor. It's... It's a secret meeting place of a... let's say of my... of my target." Onews gaze slowly wandered up, he couldn't bare looking someone directly in the eye when unraveling his secret, his well kept secret but a deep growl made clear that this wouldn't do for an answer.
"Sh- the target spends some nights there. Every once in a while she, "he coughes slightly, emphasising his next words " The target invites special... special servants. In two days. In two days the target'll be awaiting someone. But nobody will come, nobody but a... a bullet. A bullet through thick glass. Yea."
Unpredictable || Kibum & Jinki
A little frown appeared on Kibum’s face as he heard the word “walk”, thinking if that would be a good idea for him. Maybe he was delusional, but usually when he was out in public like every other guy, he felt like he was being followed or seen by a wrong person. They were idiotic fears but fears nonetheless, and Kibum tried to swallow them deep down back to his gut. No matter how much he had been stealing from people before and making their plans go wrong, no one wouldn’t be following him on the streets, right? He just usually used cabs to move from a place to another because it was safer, but was it really? Kibum sighed quietly, hoping Jinki didn’t hear it and turned on his heels to walk to the kitchen.
“It’s a plan then, hmm?” Kibum said with a low and alluring voice, still not thinking about his tone, it all coming out so naturally to him. Even that many things was worrying him about tonight, he was still excited to see the guy, to know more of him and see what he really was about, and of course, find out if he still thought that Kibum was a dirty, dirty whore with no future. Not that he would have been wrong in any level because it was obviously true, but it wasn’t Kibum’s desire to be seen like that. He was suppose to be something desirable and beautiful, not a trash to be threw aside.
“I’ll be there in an hour and a half, how does that sound?” Kibum asked, taking the whiskey bottle from the cabinet and poured some on a class that was already on the counter. He had a habit of not being completely sober at any times because it helped him to get through each day of his life, making his memory unclear. If he took a drink now and when he left, he’d probably feel even good when he got to the university, and feeling good wasn’t a thing Kibum usually felt. Maybe Jinki could teach him a thing or two about that.
"Sounds wonderful..." He almost purred the words in the telephone, being pleased with himself and fuck yes, they'd meet again. Grinning up at the ceiling with delight, tapping his stomach up and down becoming fidgety his mind already leaped on all the things that were there to be prepared. Shower, get dressed, take a downer, hurry to Hongdae and find the exact location, get the tickets, meet Key. And Try not to look stressed out. No, don't look stressed out, don't do that it'll just make you just that much more of a moron, just be on time Jinki. You don't want to be a moron, you don't want that.
With a swift movement he got up, already unzipping his trousers, sliding them down his pale legs and trying to kick them off while he rushed to his bathroom, a pretty hard feat he found out when he almost tripped through the door. Holding on the the knob as if his dear life depended on it he silently cursed himself, for he was pretty sure he had made a rather ungraceful sound and could just hope Key would not point it out, it being quite impossible to be overheard. Wonderful, just what you needed. Very charming, Jinki, very Charming.
"I'll see you in a bit then..." He decided trying to get rid of the rest of his cloths while still on the phone would do no good and impatiently tugged his shirt, making sure just the right amount of excitement swinged with his words, nothing to be creeped out by but enough to express he was glad they'd meet and that he'd hang up now. Glad he was, very glad and subtly flattered that Key actually was interested in seeing him again, because yes, yes he wanted to see Key, he wanted to know more about that astoundingly proud and witty man, wanted to know what else that smart head held for him to be puzzled about.
Intruder || Jinki & Jonghyun
Jonghyun waited for a few seconds after he voiced his questions. However, when the man didn’t answered immediately he had to restrain himself from tightening his grip on the man’s arms. He was not worried of another intrusion from hunters or anything but that didn’t meant that he was not impatient. Even though he was practically calm now, he was still pissed because he could have been on his bed, sleeping, at that very moment. Instead, he was naked, pinning down an intruder that, apparently, the cat got his tongue, and getting soaked by the wetness of the rain that still lingered on the man. But he didn’t judge him for being afraid, he was just irritated from lack of rest.
When the man finally spoke, Jonghyun took in every word he said with caution. So, apparently, the man’s name was Onew. It was a rather uncommon name but who was he to judge that. And as the next words fell from the man’s -Onew’s- lips, Jonghyun perked an eyebrow. He was the one asking the questions, he had to answer to none. However, as the man continued to ramble, the young wolf scoffed softly. A misunderstanding? Supposed to be empty? That did not answered his last question.
Jonghyun stared at the man as he stopped speaking, he was definitely hiding something. With a sighed, the young wolf tighten his grip on the man’s arms. “You better not hide anything or I will have to kill you,” he said more annoyed than anything. However, a little frown appeared on his face as he stared at the man’s frighten eyes. He was definitely not a robber because he thought the place was empty and he was no junky or anything by the shape of his body. Also, the fact that the place was an apartment complex ruled out the possibility of him breaking in to just throw a party. Furthermore, the way he entered his apartment and the way he carried himself told Jonghyun that he was no ordinary human. “Speak up,” he spoke a bit more cautions and attentive this time, “and speak only and all of the truth.”
‘I… I was about to… watch the neighbours.”, Onew half stammered, half blurted out. Better being held for a perverted peeper than for a murderer. The other’d probably be disgusted, maybe he’d push off of him, scrunching his nose and throwing some insults his way, how miserable his life must be to have the urge for watching others in their flat, how sick it makes him thinking about being spied on, he would call him names, maybe even push him, but this, all this was better than the horror on a face that realized what he really did for a living. Had done for a living. Was still doing for a living.
How the realization would slowly but surely settle, how eyes would turn wide as saucers, how the mimik would fall into a complete incredulous stare, how horror would pour out of every pore, how the complete und utterly abhorrence would wash over him once the words had sunken in. No. Everything was better than being taken for what he really was. The real monster in here.
It wasn’t the best decision he had made during his young life, no, really not the best one, rather one of the worst, lying to someone that was mere seconds from ripping your throat out and eat your face alive, but he couldn’t tell. Nobody. He’d never tell anyone again. Never. Nobody. “Really, i’m sorry. I… I didn’t mean to bother you, you can look in my bag i have the spyglass in there.” He motioned towards the kitchen without making to abrupt gestures, who knew, he still didn’t feel like being in any save zone with the guy still hovering.
.
Unpredictable || Kibum & Jinki
Kibum listened Jinki blabbering, considering if he should just throw the phone out of the window and never see this guy again, since he didn’t seem to know when to shut the hell up. It was kind of adorable but if he was going to talk this much when they were actually together, and about things that Kibum did not understand or care for that matter, they would both be left out to cold after the date. Not that he wasn’t interested of the fine arts and didn’t know something of those big names, and Don Giovanni, he just didn’t find anything worth of getting excited over. Everything was in vain when they were all going to die anyway in this horrible, horrible world.
“I do know,” Kibum simply answered, choosing a pair of jeans from the closet, mostly focusing on looking brilliant over what Jinki was talking about. If he was going to get a free dinner and possibly an interesting, new customer, maybe he could go through a boring and completely stupid play. It was horrible how he was thinking, but Kibum did not see it that way himself. He did what he needed to do to get by in this world, and if this date would help him with that, he’d do it gladly and with a smile on his face.
“Where do you suggest we meet?” Kibum changed the topic, wanting to know if he needed to call a taxi or would he be picked up like gentlemen used to do to him. He walked to the bathroom, still keeping his phone on his ear and still buttnaked, checking out his hair that was still wet from the bath before. He’d have a lot to do before he was ready to leave this apartment, but maybe Jinki wasn’t ready himself.
Jinki smiled in relieve, he really had no desire to explain that intriguing complicated opus and Key didn't seem to offended by his question, no, he rather sounded quite distracted now that Jinki thought about it, but he didn't pay it any more thoughts, maybe he was watching tv in the background. Wait no. The picture of Key zapping through the prime time highlights on a couch just... it didn't fit. No.
"Meet me at Hongdae Univ. Entrance at 11 pm. We'll walk there, it's not far." Jinki figured, that picking Key up with his baby would do no good to his poor-student image and taking the Taxi to come around in Seoul was just normal for everyone. Plus, he wouldn't have to let his car behind when they drank too much at the Restaurant.
Would they drink? Sure they would... but what if Key woud grow really bored of him. By the night? By their... whatever they had here? Jinki severelv shook his head to get rid of that nasty thought, no, no, at least give it a shot why would it suck. If he really minded going to the theatre he would have stood up to his point, Jinki knew at first hand the he wasn't shy about tellong his thoughts. No, he definitely wasn't.
Intruder || Jinki & Jonghyun
The fear that radiated from the man below him was enough to make him choke and gag. It was so suffocating and, in a way, pitiful. Staring at him, not moving a single muscle, soft growls resounded in the silent living room. He was waiting for another reason to just break the man’s neck with his powerful jaw, however, the opportunity never came. Not even if the man wanted to do something it was obvious that he couldn’t. The beat of his heart was loud and clear for the young wolf to hear.
If Jonghyun and the intruder were in a different situation -not in his apartment- he would had killed him without a second though. However, being in his own apartment and past midnight gave Jonghyun a huge lazy ass attitude. Even more when he also decided from the beginning to just play with him, he never decided to kill him. But how to get out of this situation and not get his wild side more agitated? The position was nice, a very submissive one. It made his instincts pause for him to be able to think so as long as the man stay still neither of them would have a bad time later on.
Seeing as the man was about to speak, the young wolf tilted his head to the side and waited. However, no words came out only sounds. But those sounds, to Jonghyun’s ears, were also a for of submission. The man knew he couldn’t do anything, that was good. Thinking for a few seconds, Jonghyun thought that maybe he could keep the man for his own gain. If the man agreed, he could let him live, but use him for his advantage whenever he needed a job to be done. Because, even if he was a bit clumsy, he was good enough to be able to come all the way through his window and not wake him up. Unfortunately, nature was against the man.
Leaning forward on the man’s neck, Jonghyun inhaled deeply before breathing out. He repeated the action a few times until the wildness within him calmed down. Not moving from his position, he began to morph back to his human form -cursing that he once more destroyed all of his clothe- but held the man’s arms tightly in his grip. “Don’t do that again unless you want to die, fool,” he spoke softly at the man’s ear. “And, if you don’t want to die, you will tell me who you are and what you intended to do in my apartment.”
The creature came down on his level and for a second Onew was sure it would rip him into pieces but it only... sniffed him? He choked but remained as still as possible, not in favor of his flesh meeting those razor blade he probably considered fangs. It only struck him when he saw the fur being soaked back into his skin, did it calm him down? Did his smell calm that monster? In no way this made sense to Onew but wow, what actually did at the moment. Slowly that thing transformed back into a human, a pretty handsome human by all norms of common esthetics. Though this might was better than the growling creature, it did nothing to Onews condition, his breath ragged and muscles still strained, while all he did was watch the complete illogical happen just... over him.
He stared at the ceiling, the tips of the others hair in the periphere of his sight while he was held captured laying on his back, when suddenly a low voice resonate next to his ear, almost as if the other whispered to him. ...and what you intended to do in my apartment. A shudder ran through Onews whole body, up and down his spine. The guy surely knew how to hold someones attention. It was just now that he noticed. The guy was naked, his cloths apparently torn down because of the creepy fur-and-fangs-thing. Onew forced his dry mouth open but only after the third try a reasonable word came out. "...Onew. I'm... Onew."
He didn't know if he should feel released or not, unable to foresee what the other was up to next, he didn't sound as if he still was about to eat him alive but apparently Onew had managed to piss him off big time. "This... this is a misunderstanding, when did you move in... I. I thought this apartment was still empty. I..." The words died in his throat, though he was still in fear over his dear life he didn't want to just outright tell the other that hey, he was actually a coldhearted killer and made his money with maltreatment and murder. No, their relationship was definitely too young for this kid of entrustments.
