I know how disheartening it is to watch your favourite characters’ precious screen time get chewed up by awkward, unpleasant, and flimsy romances, and while I did initially worry this would be the case in VL/D, I’ve done some clear-headed thinking and now I’m here to help quell that fear for everyone else and tell you why you shouldn’t be so afraid of Ac/xa as a character. I have a lot of faith that the writers know what they’re doing and wouldn’t introduce a female character with a lot of potential just to be slotted together with a male protagonist, who has already been shown to have little interest in romantic pursuits (save for a certain white haired hottie, but we’ll get into that).
