Seems like Only yesterday, myself Joe Chapel and Leon Sevein my brother billed ourselves as the "Latin Blues Brothers", in 1968 after recording a hit song with Orchestra Olivieri "There's No Other Girl". Newly released once more, "There's No Other Girl" (feat. Little Caesar) by The Downtown Boys" has become a timeless classic, currently streaming on every platform and also on Spotify. Released on Medallion Records ~ Publisher GIO MIC MUSIC B.M.I.. Yes that was back in the day. I have been in the entertainment business for over 40 years along with my brother and confidant Leon. Two years ago I took a left turn and joined my good friend James Arcuri the producer / director of "Deviant In Blue" and became the casting director for this feature motion picture, soon to be released in the spring of 2021. The future looks bright, I will be casting a slew of new films with James Arcuri's film company Identity Features. I am still a songwriter at heart, music keeps beckoning me. The sweet sounds and power of music, of which I cannot resist. I have written and produced numerous songs and currently have released my personal volt of music, sharing it with you. I like to keep busy and productive because I am still an Artist with passions for Music, Art and Film.
