do you get it? fall out boy playing demos and deep cuts isn't new by any means. but they used to be relegated to small shows, secret shows, because surely your average concert goer couldn't be interested in anything but the hits, right? wrong. and now they know that. and they get to play these songs in stadiums to several thousands of their biggest fans who know all the words.

listening to pavlove officially and not from a crunchy download ripped from youtube is making me so emotional. obviously the quality is so much better and it’s just such a fitting end to this year in regards to fall out boy. they’ve had so much fun with us, they’ve shown us just how much they have healed, and as a token pavlove is ours now.

kids these days who are fans of fall out boy and can just read the lyrics on spotify or whatever. do you know how lucky you are. when i was a lad you listened to an illegally burnt cd, heard a nonsensical string of syllables, and listened to it 100 times until you thought you know what was said. and then you got ahold of an album sleeve with lyrics and read the lyrics. and realise you were absolutely nowhere close.
