Hello, lovelies! This was a personal request from the lovely @whxtsablurryface. She’s awesome. I’m sorry this took so long, dear!
You sat there in the tour bus, curled up Josh’s blankets, crying with the loud music of the concert in the background. You loved Josh but sometimes tours would just be too much for you. Fiddling with your sweater, you traced the scars on your wrist, trying your best to breathe.
‘I can do this.’ You thought, focusing on calming down. But, the more you tried, the worse it got. Quickly grabbing your phone, you switched on your favourite playlist and pushed your earbuds in. Suddenly, something grabbed your shoulder. You shot up, still sobbing.
“Hey, hey. It’s okay.” Tyler hugged you.
“Oh my gosh, Ty. You scared me.” You sniffled, looking down.
He immediately got up and and ran out of the bus. All you could hear was muffled talking outside while you were sitting on the floor, your eyes red.
“Babe. Oh, come here.” Josh rushed into the bus, picking you up.
You buried your face into his chest, your breathing beginning to quicken again. He sat you down on the couch, going to the small kitchen on the tour bus. Within a minute or two, he handed you a cup of tea, pulling you under his arm.
“I t-tried to stay in the wings but it was s-so loud.” Your voice was barely above a whisper, your throat rough from the crying you had done.
“I understand, Allie. I understand. I’m right here.” Josh pulled the lever on the side of the couch, turning it into a recliner.
“Y’know, the tour is almost over and I thought that maybe after, you could move in with me…” He didn’t look at you, afraid of your response.
“Wait, really?” You tilted your head up at him, peering through your lashes that had once been soaked with tears.
“I’ve been meaning to ask you but I was too scared.” You pulled his face down to yours, forcing him to look at you before you pressed his lips to his.
“I take that as a yes?” A smile spread across Josh’s lips as he kissed you.
He pulled you closer to his side while you rested your head on him, sipping on your hot beverage. Running his fingers through your hair, he softly began to sing your favourite song. Your eyes began to droop as you heard it. Almost dropping your cup,you set it on the coffee table in front of you and quickly returned to your spot.
“I’m not as good as you but I figured I would try.” He pressed a kiss to your head while your eyes closed slowly.
“It’s perfect.” You whispered into his chest, falling asleep in his arms.
