She started taking a bus to be on time for classes and started to show up for in-person lectures. She pre-read slides as much as possible and followed up by going through Anki. This new set of routines came with changes in my schedule. I started going to preschool 30min earlier and 2hrs later at 2:30pm. Grandma picks me up, and I come home, then mama comes home around 3:40 or 4:05pm. All of the mama's classes end at noon, so she has 3hrs or so to study, including lunch. She started packing her lunch, locking herself in the room, eating lunch, and reviewing lectures. She planned this routine so she could comfortably spend mid-afternoon and evening with me. She plays, eats meals with us, and takes me to sleep. Many nights for the last few weeks, she would fall asleep, and I'd hold her in my arm, sucking my thumb, and just think about stuff quietly. Mama would wake up from her short evening nap and kiss me good night. I tell her don't go, then she reminds me that T-cells need to rest and grow. I let her go and tell her that I'll come in the middle of the night to snuggle. She says yes. We will play together over the weekend during the day! Mama is looking forward to the weekends, spring breaks, and the summer when daylight is long, so we can go outside in the late afternoon.
Today when we got out of car, mama held me out of the car to go inside the home. I pressed my face against mama's face, and we stayed together for a long time.
