Come With Blankets || Jails
"That’s what makes you so perfect, at leas to me." They met in another soft, gentle kiss which cut Bailey’s little declaration of love short. In truth it was everything that Julian hated about himself, it was all of his flaws that made Bailey only love him that much more. His mother married the generic idea of perfection and he knows how that ended but Julian — Julian was like that little chipped piece of fine china that most materialistic people would throw out for being broken but it was the cracks themselves, the history and story, that made you hold onto it just a little tighter than the rest. Without even thinking Bailey shifted his weight so the blanket could move as freely as possible between the two of them while he rested on top. "Well that covers my blankets but what about duvets? Sweaters? Snuggies? The list is endless, how do I compete with the worldwide supply of warmth?" He teased, a light laugh rolling through him as he snuggled up against his boyfriend like a playful puppy. "I don’t have to worry about Ell around you per say, I just have to worry that he’d sneak into the bed while we’re sleeping and latch onto both of us. He is my favorite little shit though…” Bailey smirked as they spoke about their good friend. “That, and I’d have to worry about him wanting to share you… so I guess you’re right.”
Bailey bit his lower lip in an attempt to stifle his excitement as he felt Julian’s nose nudge him. “I’m going to skip the normal Jack Frost joke about your nippy nose there babe, but only because you agreed to go shopping with me. I promise, it wont be one of those boring days where I drag you around and make you try on a bunch of clothes with me. This is more of a… well, it’s a surprise. Think you can handle that? If not, add it to the list of things I’ve done to you.”
The thought pressed through his mind, how after everything, after all he had been through, and afraid he was going to go through, everything was alright. Bailey had for one reason or another stayed by his side, and though it may have taken a bit too long to get there, they seemed to finally be in a place where the younger considered it to be peaceful. "You like my imperfections? You realize we'd probably starve if dinner were up to me." It was a pretty known fact that Julian didn't cook, that he'd just rather live off of cereal if it was nutritious enough. Thank god for Bailey. "You could just stay here, this seems warm enough to me, I've just decided." His eyes closed for a moment, letting Bailey rub against him, his arms slinking around the other's neck lightly. This, right here, was the place that Julian wanted to be, the place he never wanted to leave. "Ell wouldn't want to share me, he'd want the both of us then refuse to move from our bed because he's an annoying little fuck when you ask him to do things." But the thing was, Ell was Julian's best friend, and no matter what the other said about him, it was never true, he had too much love for the younger. "Don't worry, the only person you have to share me with is the pizza delivery guy, I think I might be having an affair with him."
"A surprise? You aren't going to pretend to take me to the mall and then actually leave me in the woods somewhere to die? That seems pretty terrible Bailey, and I might have to change my mind." He teased softly as his smile grew at the thought of a surprise, "Can I have a hint?"
